Little quiet details from days spent making things 🤍

Lots of floral inspiration from art books like this lovely Klimt one I picked up recently, and lots of textures and techniques. I love making wedding veils that combine different styles of embroidery and making 3D flowers for appliques.

Also, muted wedding colour palettes are my favourite lately! 🪡 I think the delicate colours remind me of Spring.

This design began as my Pearl Love Hearts with Vintage Bow veil and evolved into something deeply personal. Embroidered initials, little birds, hand beaded pearls and a tiny stitched locket with paw prints to honour the brides cats.

Finished with hand cut and shaped 3D flowers in ivory organza and tulle. A reminder that a wedding veil can hold stories, memories, and love, stitched softly into every detail.

Introducing the Blossom Wedding Veil 🤍

Created in our signature Falling Flower style, this veil is hand embroidered with dainty little off-white blossoms, each one finished with a pale yellow French knot centre.

Drop veils and veils with minimal gather make me so happy lately. The finished piece always looks elegant and romantic, and even though there is a lot of embroidery, it doesn't feel overwhelming and has a delicate touch. 🪡

The embroidered blossoms are concentrated at the top of the veil and fade down gradually to the train, where I've placed a few scattered flowers at the end. 🤍

Wonderful bride Hannah wearing her bespoke fingertip length wedding veil 🤍

A veil filled with delicate wildflowers in pastel shades that are concentrated on the lower edge of the veil and fade upwards.

Each flower is embroidered entirely by hand with intricate needlework, and the veil itself is attached to a headband rather than a traditional comb to give it a voluminous, traditional look 🤍

I've been working on this design in between bespoke pieces for months 🤍 I wanted it to be like hand embroidered lace with curlicues and blossoms, so that when the veil is worn it mimics a floral vine over your hair.

The colour palette is quite restricted, with a few shades of lilac, peach and ivory, and the embroidery has taken tens and tens of hours so far. I used to aim to time how long it took to make a piece, but for some designs it is completely futile. They take a long time, and you have to enjoy the process 🪡
