🤠🎶 What a fantastic Friday! 🎶🤠

On Friday I had the pleasure of performing at a fantastic private hire for a family’s B-Fest, with a brilliant country western theme! 🤠🌵

What made this gig extra special was that the family had all sent in their own music requests beforehand, allowing me to put together a completely personalised setlist just for them. There’s something really lovely about being able to perform songs that have a special meaning to the people you’re playing for. ❤️🎶

And despite the good old British weather deciding to join the party with a bit of rain ☔️, everyone just carried on enjoying themselves and having a brilliant time!

The family were absolutely lovely and went above and beyond, even inviting my husband and daughter along for the day so they could join in with the festivities too. 🥰 It really made it feel like we were part of the celebration rather than just there to provide the music.

I had such a great time performing for you all — great people, great music, great atmosphere and definitely a gig I’ll remember! 🤠🎸

Taking it back 3 years ago, to a time when I was performing in musical theatre companies and alongside when I started booking paid gigs and events.

Those years on stage were where I built so much of the vocal technique, confidence and performance experience that I carry with me today. 🎤❤️

Looking back at this video, I absolutely love it — not because it’s perfect, but because of the rawness, emotion and character behind the performance.

Musical theatre taught me that singing isn’t just about the notes. It’s about telling the story, feeling the emotion and becoming the character.

And I think a little piece of that will always be at the heart of what I do. 🎭❤️

🎶 Music really is a family affair in our house! 🎶❤️

Behind every performance is a family who has always loved music — and I think this little video proves just how much it runs through ours! 🥰

I married a musical husband, and somewhere along the way we created a little girl who has inherited the love of music in the best possible way. 🎤💃

She requests songs all day long, loves to dance, and can often be found putting on her own little performances around the house! 😂❤️ And of course, Dad is always more than happy to join in!

This little moment of them enjoying some of the Frozen Broadway soundtrack together is exactly what music means to us — fun, connection, memories and simply enjoying being together. ❄️🎶

So whilst Emily Foxall Vocals & Entertainment might be my business, music has always been much more than that to me. It’s part of our family, part of our home, and something I’m so happy to see being passed on to the next generation. ❤️

Now… if only I could convince them to do this at my next gig! 😂🎤

Taking a little trip back to July and the Black Country Living Museum Wedding Fayre, where I had the absolute pleasure of performing a beautiful rendition of A Thousand Years. 🤍

It was such a lovely day meeting so many wonderful couples, hearing all about their wedding plans and chatting about how I could help make their big day even more personal.

And the best part? 💍✨

Quite a few of the lovely couples I met that day have since gone on to book me for their weddings this year and next year! 🥰

I absolutely love that no two weddings are the same. Some couples want beautiful acoustic versions, others want something more upbeat and party-focused, while some have a particular song in mind but want it adapted into a completely different style to make it their own.

Whether it's a romantic first dance, live music during your ceremony or drinks reception, or getting everyone up on the dance floor later in the evening — your wedding, your music, your way. 🤍

Running 2 companies at once is never easy, but trying to be a full time Mum at the same time is wild 😂

I am so grateful that I've had the opportunity to change careers and the flexibility it gives us with Hallie. Meeting so many new people, both owners of beautiful dogs or clients who are trying to find entertainment, has been so rewarding.

Cannot wait to see what both of these adventures look like this time next year, but for now, we keep creating, advertising and booking. Thank you to everyone who shares our pages like a virus, we really appreciate you!
