CLASSIC GREENS AND WHITES AT THE OLD HALL ELY

This weekend we had the pleasure of styling a wedding for the wonderful J & D, styling alongside the talented . They brought in foliage and stunning white blooms, which was complemented by our rich forest green textiles and touches of gold.

We brought in personal touches to make this wedding extra special, from the couple’s dog travelling the world (AI!) and featuring in each table number to fun table games, including a crossword and photo challenge to bring the table together. All the little details that make a wedding their own.

We’re delighted to officially be a preferred supplier at the stunning Lanwades Hall!

This venue is full of character, beautiful grounds and some seriously gorgeous spaces- from the Sunken Garden with its grand staircase entrance to the wood-panelled Great Hall. It’s the perfect backdrop for a beautiful wedding 🥰

CLEAN, SCULPTURAL & BEAUTIFULLY SIMPLE

We love a bouquet that doesn’t try to do too much and for this bridesmaid bouquet we used just a handful of stems. The result: a whole lot of shape.

These calla lilies are naturally sculptural, so you really don’t need much else. Clean, modern and completely flower led 🤍

We’re so looking forward to being at the Hinxton Hall Wedding Exhibition on Sunday 27th September, 11am–3pm!

SINGLE STEM STATEMENT💫

Giving each flower a little space to breathe means even a single rose can have an impact. For this table, we kept the florals intentionally simple, using single and double-stem bud vases filled with roses in soft pinks and ivory. Woven between the candlelight, they add colour, texture and movement without taking away from the beautiful patterned linen or the table itself.

And these vases worked hard throughout the day too. We used them along the aisle, at the base of the pedestals and on the registrar table before the wedding breakfast.

Another bonus? They can help keep your floral budget in check too. More flowers doesn’t always mean more impact , it’s about how you use them 🤍

FROM STYLIST TO SISTER ✨

Last weekend was a little different to my usual weddings, as I had the very special job of styling my own brother’s wedding day.

We kept everything classic and elegant, with a soft palette of ivory and blush with delicate foliage, allowing the beautiful surroundings to do plenty of the talking.

The garden ceremony showcased statement urns overflowing with florals overflowing florals, before moving into the beautiful wood panelled setting for dinner.

For the tables, we brought together abundant, airy florals, layered with candlelight, pleated lamps and touches of gold. The result was elegant and romantic whilst keeping the space fresh.

And yes, being the sister and the stylist meant I was very much still checking table details right up until the last minute!

It was a special one to be part of, and I’m so glad I got to do both jobs🤍
