Weโre delighted to welcome Dr. Scott Hale as a speaker at the second edition of Cambridge Forum 2026 ๐
Itโs a pleasure to have Dr. Scott join us this year as we bring together global experts and innovators shaping the future of AI and society.
Dr. Scott Hale is a Research Scientist at Google Research, Associate Professor, and Director of the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford, where he leads multidisciplinary research exploring the impact of emerging technologies on society.
He is also Director of Research at Meedan, a technology nonprofit building public interest AI tools, and leads the Equitable Access to Quality Information Lab (EAQI Lab) at Oxford. His work focuses on machine learning, multilingual natural language processing, LLM alignment, and understanding how people access and evaluate online information in their daily lives.
Dr. Scott is particularly passionate about putting research into practice through collaboration with community and media organisations, helping ensure that AI technologies are developed responsibly, inclusively, and for public benefit.
