We're delighted to welcome Dr. Keith Grimes as a keynote speaker at Cambridge Forum 2026.

GP for 30 years, Honorary Associate Professor at Warwick, Lecturer at UCL, Topol Review panelist, Babylon Health alumnus, and co-author of the 2026 DBT report on Generative AI in Healthcare. Keith is one of the most credible voices at the intersection of clinical practice and AI policy in the UK.

His view is clear: "AI is like a calculator: highly useful when its fundamentals are understood and used to support, not supplant, thoughtful decision-making."

That perspective, grounded in patient care, is exactly what Cambridge Forum 2026 wants to discuss.

We are excited to announce that Dr. David Cleevely will join us as a keynote speaker at Cambridge Forum 2026!

Dr. Cleevely is one of the founding fathers of the Cambridge Cluster, a serial technology entrepreneur, angel investor, and one of the most connected minds in the tech ecosystem.

As Co-Founder of Cambridge Angels, Cambridge Network, Cambridge Wireless, and Cambridge Ahead, he has spent decades building the very infrastructure that allows ideas to collide, companies to form, and talent to thrive.

Heโ€™s also the founder of Abcam, Analysys, and Bocca di Lupo, Chair of Chemify and Focal Point Positioning, and the author of Serendipity: It Doesnโ€™t Happen by Accident. A Government adviser and Chair of the Enterprise Committee for the Royal Academy of Engineering, his fingerprints are on some of the most important conversations shaping UK science and technology policy.

And itโ€™s that systems-level thinking, how you build environments where breakthroughs actually happen, that makes him such a compelling voice for our AI & Health theme.

โ€œSerendipity doesnโ€™t happen by accident. Itโ€™s much more by design. You want to actually design things so that the unpredictable is going to happen.โ€ Dr. David Cleevely CBE

Thatโ€™s exactly the kind of thinking we need as AI reshapes healthcare. Not waiting for the next breakthrough to arrive, but building the conditions for it.

In September, seven early-stage health tech founders will take the stage at Cambridge Forum to share what they are building, why it matters, and what it will take to bring their solutions into real clinical and operational settings.

As part of , we are inviting pre-seed and seed-stage health tech startups to apply for Pitch My Idea, our showcase focused on AI and Health.

Building in healthcare is rarely straightforward.

Clinical validation takes time. Adoption pathways are complex. Regulation, implementation, trust, and evidence all matter. Most founders are navigating all of this while building with limited time and capital.

Pitch My Idea is designed with these realities in mind.

Seven selected startups will deliver:
โ€ข a 7-minute pitch
โ€ข followed by a 7-minute moderated Q&A

Founders will present to a curated audience of UK and international investors, alongside leaders from academia, healthcare, and global institutions.

Selected founders will also receive:
โ€ข structured pitch preparation
โ€ข optional rehearsal and feedback sessions
โ€ข curated investor introductions within 48 hours
โ€ข ongoing post-event support and follow-up

We are particularly interested in companies tackling meaningful healthcare challenges through clinically informed innovation, responsible AI adoption, and evidence-led approaches to impact.

Applications close on 1 July 2026.
There is no fee to apply.
