For those who wish to celebrate the most important positive female influence in your life with a gift of stunning, seasonal flowers on Mother's Day or International Women's Day, here's a little about what motivates me when I make the bouquets you order.
This is Margrith - she's my mother-in-law - and every year since I started making floral displays her sons have clubbed together to get her a special bouquet for Mother's Day. Of course, it is very definitely from Gary and Kevin, but (secretly) it is as much from me, as Marg has been an inspiration and steady influence since my own wonderful Mum passed away.
On Mother's Day, which is hard for many people, it remains a pleasure for me to be able to channel my thoughts and feelings about all the wonderful ladies (those I have known and loved and lost, those I still know, and those you know but who I will never meet) into flowery expressions of appreciation on your behalf.
If Mother's Day is not for you, then consider gifting on International Women's Day (8 March) - the annual celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women - to your female inspiration.
