Thank you all so much for your lovely comments and messages about our pumpkin,

She’s had a good night slept & managed to keep everything in,

today has been a slow day, she’s supposed to have 2 & 1/2 tins of this food so far she’s managed 1 & 1/2
But that’s better than none,

She’s on 14 tablets a day which we have successfully achieved today
With the help of some chicken,
So that the positives

She’s very sleepy & cold
Not drinking much at all so having to  syringe it in to her, very thin & weak

All we can do is take it day by day
She currently having mummy cuddles alll wrapped up
Please keep prying for her ❤️

She’s home ❤️❤️❤️
Results are in she has PLE
Protein losing enteropathy,
Unfortunately she has a severe case so we are all hoping she pulls though,

She is very poorly and has a mountain of tablets & for the next few weeks & a special diet, no treats at all
Please keep her in your prayers, we will of course keep you up to date, but a big thanks for today lots of lovely comments and messages ❤️

Vets just called,
Ultra sound clear no lumps or visible shadows, but that doesn’t rule out intestines cancer which can only be found if they do a biopsy

She said thats not an option as she’s to weak and wouldn’t make it though

PLE
Still very much on the cards

They called to say shes very distressed, very white gums, & panting way to fast would I give permission for her to be sedated so they can continue with the drip,
I said yes of course
They are now pumping her with anti biotics and steroids
& will call again soon 😢
Poor little girl
I’m so lost I can’t tell you, made my self some toast & thought it’s the first time in 10 years I’ve had lunch at home without a bulldog 😢😢

Pumpkin update - PLEASE PRAY FOR HER

Had to rush her to the vets at 9 this morning

Very bad Blood diarrhea and sick over night

Her bloods and poo test were back this morning from her tests in the week

Her protein levels are dangerously low which means her body is eating the lining of her gut
To try to get goodness

All she would eat this week is eggs and chicken and she was doing well so we thought

I’ve Been cooking daily for her and tempting her with ham and pate

She either has
Ple - protein losing entropathy

If it's this she said its fatal,
The treatment would be hit her hard with a very very high dose of steroids 3 times a day for a couple of weeks see if any improvement
Some dogs respond but she said most don't

If they respond to the steroids for rest of her time and a specialised high protein diet,
But the out look is about 6/8 weeks

The other one is cancer
And she said if it is cancer its severe

They have kept her there put her on a drip as shes dehydrated and morphine for the pain,

They are doing an ultra sound this afternoon to look for lumps/ shadows as she's thinking a tumor

I can't tell you how I feel
I feel sick and in shock
Had to Jay at work with the news, he just broke down

Please keep pumps in your prayers she’s only 7 and a half
We can’t loose her as well we just can’t 😢
