It's taken months for me to write this but, I wanted to share a personal update with you all. As you all know, Halibalw Miwsig sessions have been on hold for a while.
Back in February, I was diagnosed with cancer. Itβs been a challenging time, and Iβve been focusing on my health, family and most importantly my two beautiful children Mollie and Dexter β€οΈπ as we navigate this journey together.
Throughout this, Iβve continued to teach swimming and have stayed as committed as possible β especially to my private swimming lessons which also cater for children who have additional needs alongside parent-and-child lessons for Cwac Cwacs on Saturdays.
Unfortunately, finding suitable cover for Clap & Song sessions simply wasnt possible as it caters for many things beyond the weekly sessions such as private bookings for various events, birthday parties etc, so these will remain on hold for now. But I'm really hoping it won't be for too much longer.
I want to say a heartfelt thank you for all your kind messages and support β it truly means the world to me. Iβm hopeful to be back up and running as soon as I can. I have an amazing support network surrounding me made up of friends, family and my wonderful customers. Funtastic childrens soft play & Party centre, Caerphilly have also been very supportive along with Matt from CWAC CWAC's.
My support workers at Macmillan who contact me weekly are also amazing and I'm feeling super thankful for everything right nowβ€οΈπβ€οΈ
And last but certainly not least The House of Human Potential In Cardiff Bay... for showing me such kindness, strength and support throughout this. Benny Matthews especially π
I really appreciate all the continued messages and requests for Halibalw Miwsig to attend various events/ parties from customers, Mudiad Meithrin, Menter Iaith etc and I'm sorry I haven't been able to commit to anything this year, but super thankful you havent forgotten me! I miss it all so much and I hope to be back jumping around ...singing and entertaining your little ones soon, which is something I love love love doing.
Diolch
Thank you
