A huge thank you to Lauren and everyone at The White Lion, Buckley for their incredibly generous support of the Buckley Jubilee.

On Jubilee Day, they kindly organised a wonderful Artisan Market in their car park, and very generously donated the stall fees from every stallholder to the Buckley Jubilee.

We are so grateful for their kind donation of £98. Every contribution helps us to preserve and celebrate this wonderful Buckley tradition for future generations.

Thank you once again to Lauren, the team at The White Lion, all of the stallholders, and everyone who supported the market. Your kindness and community spirit are truly appreciated. ❤️

We are absolutely overwhelmed by the support for our Buckley Jubilee Photo Sale!

So many photographs have already found their new homes, and thanks to the fantastic response, we've added even more photos to the display today.

If you haven't had chance to look yet, why not pop along to F&J Newscentre and see if you can spot yourself, your family or friends in the photographs? Every photo is just £1, with all proceeds going towards funding next year's Buckley Jubilee, helping us continue this wonderful tradition for years to come.

As our unforgettable 170th Buckley Jubilee Week draws to a close, what a truly wonderful way it was to end our celebrations with a beautiful evening of Community Hymn Singing at Bistre Emmanuel Church.

A heartfelt thank you to Rev. Chris Lawton for leading such a thoughtful and uplifting service. It was a fitting conclusion to a week filled with celebration, friendship, tradition and thanksgiving, and a lovely opportunity for our community to come together.

During the service, we were also delighted to welcome a representative from our Royal Buckley Town Band, where they were presented with a cheque for £743.23 from the street collection on Jubilee Day. The Buckley Jubilee Committee were incredibly proud to make this up to £1,000 in recognition of the band's unwavering dedication and the tremendous part they have played in our Jubilee celebrations for so many years.

As we reflect on the past week, our hearts are full. Thank you to every single person who attended an event, volunteered, donated, marched, sang, supported and celebrated alongside us. Your enthusiasm and community spirit have made this 170th Buckley Jubilee one that will be remembered for many years to come.

Here's to preserving this wonderful tradition for generations to come. ❤️💙

What an incredible week it has been celebrating our wonderful 170th Buckley Jubilee. From the procession and the celebrations to the smiles, music and community spirit, it has truly been a week to remember.

Tomorrow evening marks the conclusion of this very special Jubilee Week, and we would love you to join us for one final celebration together.

We are still completely overwhelmed by all the kind words, lovely messages and wonderful comments following yesterday's 170th Buckley Jubilee. Reading your memories, seeing your photos and hearing how much the day meant to so many people has been incredibly special. Your support means more to us than you will ever know.

We are also absolutely delighted to announce that £743.23 was collected yesterday for our chosen charity, the Royal Buckley Town Band.

Today was everything we could have hoped for and so much more.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who came out to celebrate the 170th Buckley Jubilee. Seeing the streets filled from beginning to end with families, friends and neighbours, generations standing together, waving flags and cheering on the procession was truly overwhelming.

For 170 years, the Buckley Jubilee has brought our community together, and today was a powerful reminder of why this tradition means so much. The smiles, the music, the laughter, the applause and the incredible community spirit created memories that will last a lifetime.

This day simply would not happen without the dedication of so many people. To everyone who marched in the procession, volunteered, stewarded, donated, sponsored, helped behind the scenes, provided refreshments, opened their churches, performed, organised, and supported us in any way – thank you. You have all played a part in making today so special.

To everyone who lined the streets, waved your flags, sang the hymns, joined the celebrations and made Buckley look so proud – thank you. Your support means everything and is what keeps this remarkable 170-year tradition alive for future generations.

The day we've all been waiting for is finally here!

Today, our town comes together to celebrate 170 years of the Buckley Jubilee – a tradition that has been passed down through generations and continues to make Buckley such a special place to call home.

Whether you've been part of the Jubilee for decades or this is your very first one, we hope you'll join us in celebrating everything that makes today so unique.

'Twas the night before our Buckley Jubilee, and all through Buckley,
The excitement is building, there's such a wonderful buzz in our town.

Flags are hanging proudly, bunting lines the streets, windows are beautifully decorated, and the final preparations are almost complete. Costumes are pressed, shoes are polished, instruments are ready, and the kettles are on for tomorrow's Jubilee Teas.

Tomorrow, we'll come together to celebrate 170 years of one of Buckley's most treasured traditions. Families, friends, neighbours, churches, schools, bands, businesses and visitors will fill our streets with smiles, music and memories.

Whether you're marching in the procession, waving your flag from the roadside, volunteering behind the scenes, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, thank you for being part of what makes Buckley Jubilee so special.

Here's to a day filled with community spirit, pride, laughter and memories that will last a lifetime.

🎶 Buckley Jubilee Hymns & Procession Route 🎶
One of the most cherished traditions of Buckley Jubilee is the singing of our hymns, bringing everyone together in celebration of our town and its wonderful heritage.
Before the procession sets off, everyone is warmly invited to gather on the Common for the 3:00pm service, where we will sing The Jubilee Hymn followed by Onward Christian Soldiers. It's a beautiful way to begin this very special day together.

We've also included a map of the procession route. More than anything, we would love to see the entire route lined with people. Whether you're at the very start, the very end, or anywhere in between, your presence helps create the incredible atmosphere that makes Buckley Jubilee so special. Seeing the streets filled with families, friends and visitors waving flags and cheering on the procession means so much to everyone taking part.

You'll notice several green circles marked on the map. These are the points where the procession pauses and the Royal Buckley Town Band plays Onward Christian Soldiers. If you're standing near one of these stops, we'd love you to sing along! Last year, this became one of the most memorable moments of the day. The sound of the band echoing through the streets, accompanied by hundreds of voices singing together, gave so many people goosebumps. It was a truly magical moment.

We want to see Buckley buzzing from start to finish, with people lining every street, waving their flags, cheering on the procession and celebrating 170 years of Buckley Jubilee together.

Finally, as the procession returns to the Common to conclude this year's celebrations, we will come together once more to sing Guide me, O Thou Great Jehovah, bringing another unforgettable Buckley Jubilee to a fitting close.

Let's make this our biggest and best Jubilee for a long time. Fill the streets, wave your flags, sing with pride and help us create a sea of smiling faces all the way around Buckley! ❤️💙🎺🇬🇧
