Part #2
The Core Issue:
Today’s life is full of restlessness, disorder, and confusion. Every person longs for peace, yet struggles to understand how to redirect life towards tranquillity.
The Only Way Out:
Here, I share the valuable lessons of forty to forty-five years—gained during my student days and through striving in the work of the Prophet ﷺ. Added to this is the wisdom gathered from elders, sages, and deep conversations with people seeking solutions.
Most troubles arise from the weakness of the human mind—its immaturity, ignorance, and negligence. When major life challenges are handled with a childish mindset, confusion only deepens.
Maturity does not grow automatically with age; it must be learnt. But in this materialistic age, true teachers of wisdom are rare. The real path of meaningful living can only be discovered in the life of the Prophet ﷺ or in those who sincerely follow him.
A mother’s lap no longer imparts that nurturing wisdom, and today’s educational institutions focus solely on worldly success. The places that once built courage, discipline, generosity, and fearlessness have almost vanished.
"How will a child inherit the character of its parents?
Its milk comes from a tin, its education from strangers."
A peaceful life is every human’s basic need—especially in matters of family, marriage, livelihood, home, and personal life. And in old age, this need becomes even stronger. True peace comes only when emotions are balanced.
Maturity has nothing to do with degrees, wealth, inventions, or academic brilliance. My dear friends, not at all. True maturity lies in adopting the lifestyle of the Prophet ﷺ, which brings balance to the mind, purity to the heart, and success in this world and the next.
A Mature Person Reflects Qualities Such As:
Faith, purity, contentment, humility, patience, gratitude, bravery, generosity, truth, forgiveness, family loyalty, prayer, service to humanity, obedience to parents, good manners, and a peaceful home.
A Spiritually Weak Person Falls Into Habits Such As:
Selfishness, superstition, impurity, dishonesty, lust, addiction, jealousy, lying, family conflict, neglect of prayer, cowardice, gambling, drinking, and other destructive traits.
The only real cure is inner cleansing—spending time in pure environments like mosques and spiritual retreats, removing toxic emotions, and replacing them with the qualities of strength and balance.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever makes the Hereafter his primary concern, Allah takes care of all his worldly matters. Whoever becomes consumed by worldly worries, Allah cares not into which valley he is lost.”
These writings were shaped using insights from Dr John A. Fendler’s How to Live All 365 Days of the Year, adapted to our society. May Allah accept it and make it beneficial—Ameen.
Some names and details have been changed to protect dignity. Certain incidents were merged for clarity, and motivational language was added—hence a slight touch of storytelling appears.
