have created an amazing data base of bands with global majority members in them. To make the UK music more diverse go check it out!

In our experience, the UK punk/alt/metal gig scene needs more racial diversity. So many of the punk/alt/metal gig line ups we play are all white, we have had too many experiences of this and we want to do something about it. There are plenty of bands, artists and gig goers of all different backgrounds but the scene largely doesnโ€™t showcase diversity. We are doing our part by developing a database of UK punk/alt/metal bands with global majority members. Can you help us get more bands with at least one global majority member listed? Or can you share this in your networks to spread the word? We want to send this to promoters and venues to highlight all the amazing bands out there and give people a chance to connect.
There are some amazing promoters out there putting on diverse line ups, and we would love to see this be the norm!
