Something a little different on the channel today 🔥

You might know Oli Gould for his funk and soul sets. The scratching. The beat juggling. The massive Instagram following.

But today he's on a completely different tip.

4000 YouTube Subscribers!!!

Right... I just want to say a massive thank you to every single one of you that has subscribed to my channel.

4k subscribers in 5 months from an absolute standing start. When I launched VinylJu**ieTV I had no idea if anyone would even watch... and now here we are.

This is just the beginning. There is so much more coming — more sample breakdowns, more Crate Diggin' interviews, more mixes from some incredible DJs, and the brand new Ju**ie Jukebox series which kicked off this week.

Right then... new IBYDKT up on the channel and this one genuinely surprised me when I started digging into it.

Warrior's Dance by The Prodigy. You know the tune. But did you know that Jeff Mills — The Wizard, co-founder of Underground Resistance, one of the absolute forefathers of Detroit Techno — is an official co-writer on it?

Not a collab. Not a feature. He's on the writing credits because Liam sampled the main hook from a 1989 Detroit underground record that Jeff co-wrote. And when you take someone's hook and make it YOUR hook... they become a writer on your record.
