Ok, it was my birthday weekend with lots of lovely elements, including a concert at our local church.

Not a significant birthday number, but we needed time together as a family.

Even more importantly for us, our son finished his treatment for testicular cancer. Did you know it is most prevalent in young men aged 15-35? It has a 96% recovery rate if caught in time.

Don't be embarrassed to ask your sons, partners, husbands, brothers, cousins, and friends if they are checking their balls regularly. It could save someone's life.

Bonny baby meets my mascot Larry.

I had an enquiry from a stressed out mum who realised she couldn't do everything. Three weeks later I delivered a naming ceremony for their lovely baby.

"Thank you Juliet for yesterday; you really made a special ceremony for our daughter."

We had three long WhatsApp video calls. When baby joined us on-screen, Larry gave her a wave and did a little dance. I couldn't resist taking him along to baby in real life.

The ceremony had to be translated into another language, which a family friend helped with and read for the non-English speaking family members including baby's grandma.

It was a good job I packed some tissues as I was handing them out to quite a few people with damp eyes. There was lots of laughter too.

Using public transport keeps my celebrant business environmentally sustainable. I'm lucky where I live we have relatively good public transport.

Today I saw my son off a the airport. (Yes his trip is not eco.) Then bus and two trains to another fabulous baby naming ceremony in south Wales. Then home again on a slightly different route.

All went smoothly and I had time to relax and prepare myself. Also had some great chats on the way home with fellow travellers.

Another wonderful baby naming ceremony. I felt incredibly lucky to work with the parents and meet their lovely family and friends.

They chose this music (Concerning Hobbits) for part of the ceremony.

A very relaxed DIY event at , which offers a rustic open barn, as well as an enclosed room.
