Travel gets us together in the field. But it also has an impact.

Tackling the environmental impact of our events is a top priority, and we’re proud to share what our community made possible in 2025! Slide for the stats ➡️

Audience travel accounts for 64% of a UK festival’s total footprint, according to the Show Must Go On report. That’s why we need to tread lighter and travel to shows together; walking, cycling, public transport, the Love Bus.

But for the infrastructure deliveries and travel we can’t avoid, we take responsibility.

In 2025, Team Love balanced over 74 tonnes of CO₂e from unavoidable transport to our shows, working with our partner

Together we supported four brilliant projects that:
• Deliver clean cookstoves in West Africa
• Protect threatened rainforest and biodiversity corridors
• Restore UK seagrass meadows
• Support community-led tree planting and agriculture in Northern Malawi

If we want to shift the footprint of live events, it requires collective action across organisers, suppliers, artists and audiences. We are committed to doing our part.

You can calculate and balance the impact of any journey you make to our shows on the Onboard:earth website or app. are working towards raising £1 million for environmental programmes this year, so every journey makes a difference.

Thank you to our network and every artist, crew member, trader and audience member making conscious travel choices. ❤️
