Why are wedding flowers so expensive?

If you feel like your flower quotes are higher than those of your friends who married three years ago, you’re right. In 2026, the cost of importing and transporting stems has risen by an average of 12%. This isn’t just inflation; it is a fundamental shift in how the global flower market operates.
I encourage my couples to repurpose their wedding flowers. For example, your flowers for your registry table can be repurposed and used on your top table to make your floral investment work twice as hard.
Your could even reuse your bridal bouquets as table centres.

Long and low table arrangements like in the photos start from £125.

Just in case you know anyone getting married… Still some spaces for 2026 and 2027 diary is open.

I concentrate on small weddings: bride and bridesmaids’ bouquets, buttonholes and corsages, table arrangements, cake flowers.

Minimum spend £250 to cover design time, sourcing, labour, delivery, installation.
£100 non-refundable booking fee to secure a date.

Please note: I won’t take on wedding florals with any DIY / artificial flowers. I don’t want to put my name to flowers I didn’t create.

Congratulations guys. I loved your classic white and green colour palette 🤍🌿

I used ivory Avalanche roses, ivory spray roses, white bouvardia, freesias, phlox, lisianthus, gypsophilia, soft Italian ruscus and cinerea and parvifolia eucalyptus to create their floral look.

If you’re still looking for a florist and are planning a smaller wedding, there’s still some availability for later 2026. The diary is also open for 2027.
