Saturday Night - Turned Out Nice are heading to London 🚅

We are so gassed to be a part of .co.uk 24th birthday event! To be in the company of some of the pioneers of the broken beat/bruk sound is a blessing, thank you to for getting us involved.

We’re over the moon to announce .dj_ will be joining us for our upcoming do at the jam jar, next Friday the 18th October.

Bristol based digger and DJ, Roo is a selector dedicated to unearthing and sharing roots-driven dance music. With a particular love for house, broken beat, boogie and electro.

Roo’s record collection of obscure 90’s and 00’s tracks has captivated audiences in recent years and has lead to shows at the likes of Rhythm Section parties and We Out Here.

Next Friday Roo joins us for the sixth edition of Turned Out Nice, alongside & Turned Out Nice residents, & for a night of broken beat, house and jazz alllllll night long.

Turned Out Nice 006 w/ WheelUp (Tru Thoughts)

To celebrate one year of dancing together, TON is taking over the Jam Jar for a night filled with warmth and dancing.

Tickets are nice and cheap, pints will be poured and a whole heap of fun will be had.

If you’re not clued up, WheelUP is West London’s broken beat renaissance-man. Holding down radio residences on stations such as Balamii and Worldwide FM, WheelUP has had releases on CoOperation Records, Jamz Supernova’s imprint Future Bounce plus home label Tru Thoughts. All in all Danny has cemented the WheelUP name as part of the new school of bruk.

Expect a journey through broken beat through to deep house cuts with one of our favourite producers in the game.

On warmzin’ duties will be Turned Out residents Winona, Taygo, and Drifty, bringing all things bruk, house, and jazz.

We’re taking over an old industrial railway arch and bringing some handbuilt speakers in for a party on May 17th.

Turned Out Nice is about placing jazz, broken beat and bruk, into a soundystem context.

Coming up to Bristol for a debut is LAST NUBIAN. His homemade production tie together a warm jazz-tipped sound of broken and house we’ve got on repeat.
