Something to remember in these summer months is that the sun doesn’t just bring warmer weather it also brings lighter evenings.

The sunlight can have a huge effect on your evening reception with guests gravitating towards the warm summer evening outside leaving you with an empty dance floor.

There are a few things you can do to help avoid this or you can simply incorporate the warmer weather into your plans which avoids guests wandering outside for fresh air when you’d rather have them inside.

You simply cannot predict the weather! Whether you are choosing to tie the know at home or abroad there is no guarantee the sun is going to shine for you.

With the weather we've had lately you wouldn't believe it rained for A&C's wedding last Saturday! They powered through and had a beautiful day even though it wasn't quite how they pictured it.

If you need help coming up with a wet weather plan for your wedding, let me know!

For now, a throwback to when the warm weather didn't feel like a day trip to hell at R&W's wedding.

Wedding planning is supposed to be fun, this is a once in a lifetime experience for you & if it’s not fun then it’s ok to ask for help.

Family members are always happy to get involved and help when asked. Be aware though that this can come with conflicting opinions and not everyone will be on the same page as you.

A wedding planner is always on your team, fighting your corner and having your back. I can steer you in the right direction and I can also tell you if you’re headed in the wrong one and why.

Little details are so important on your wedding day and couples don’t usually have the time or desire to check all the little details to ensure they are perfect. Neatly folded napkins, all candles are lit, favours are in the right locations and the grooms speech is hidden under his dinner plate.

When curating the perfect wedding colour scheme we start by looking at the colours that the couple are drawn to. It could be their favourite colours, colours that have meaning to them or just colours that make their hearts happy.

We then look at the varying shades of their chosen colours to find options that work together. This then creates the perfect colour scheme individual to them as a couple.

In this design we went with lavender, for its romantic beauty. What colour would you choose and why?
