Musician, writer, photographer and performance artist Lydia Lunch appeared in the New York music scene in 1977 with the No Wave project, Teenage Jesus and the Jerks.

Marc Hurtado is a musician, performer, poet, painter, producer and filmmaker who co-founded the French duo ETANT DONNES with his brother Eric in 1977.

Lydia Lunch crossed paths with Alan Vega and Martin Rev of Su***de upon arrival in New York at age 16. The first show of which she attended was a real shock, a revelation on a new form of a concert, a total show, theatrical, free, violent. Since then, a close relationship united them.

Marc Hurtado had already met Alan Vega and Lydia Lunch in 1999, forming the project My Lover The Killer in 2013 with Lydia Lunch , with whom they recorded and toured.

Since 2014 Lydia Lunch and Marc Hurtado have joined forces to perform Su***de and Alan Vega songs. It will be a kind of sonic “Blitzkrieg” and a visual shamanic ceremony, where both artists will burn their souls in the volcanic heart of the music of Su***de and Alan Vega.

For the last few years, SKORTS | NYC have been everywhere, forging their sound on stages across New York, cutting their teeth on tour and packing bigger and bigger rooms with returning fans and new recruits - all keen to stake their claim and earn the right to say “I knew them when”.

Pink Breath of Heaven is a reverie of shimmering guitars, haunting melodies, and introspective lyricism.
