What an incredible weekend at the Altra Brighton Half Marathon 2026! 🏃♀️
We kicked things off on Friday evening with the Altra Running Shakeout Run, bringing the running community together to start the weekend in style.
On Saturday, 700 young runners took part in our youth races — the next generation showing amazing energy, determination and plenty of smiles.
Then on Sunday we raised the bar once again, setting new records for finishers in both the Half Marathon and the Wheelchair Race Half Marathon, making this our biggest event yet.
Across the whole weekend, we welcomed over 10,000 participants to Brighton — a fantastic celebration of running, community and fun.
We’re also proud to have broken our fundraising record again, raising over £1.2 million (including Gift Aid) for good causes. An incredible £300,000 of that was raised by our Headline Charity, The Sussex Beacon, supporting their vital work.
