It's that time of year when we are flooded with extraordinary messages of sincere thanks from our gorgeous couples and their families and guests. Here is just one ..

Dear Nicky and team,

What a wonderful day we had at Pangdean on the 26th July. Everything went so well and you and your excellent team enabled that to happen.

So many people have said to me since as well as on the day that they ‘didn’t realize such good service still existed’ and ‘ they hadn’t seen such good service for years’ , plus many more similar comments. You must be very proud of what you have created and the effort and attention to detail your staff put into these occasions. We have also received lots of positive comments about the delicious meal we all enjoyed in particular the home-made sauces and the gorgeous lemon tart- a particular hit with my elderly mother-in-law.

I also I wanted to thank you Nicky for being so kind to me providing a place of peace and quiet in your sitting room to escape from the activities to recharge my batteries. It took the pressure off and enabled me to manage my day better.

Paul and I love your venue- from the beautiful gardens to the barn itself with all those twinkling lights including the ‘posh toilets’ and the soft seating area which I made good use of. Our daughter and Son-in law chose well and we would heartily recommend you to others who are thinking of planning a celebration.

Well this weather is not very inspiring is it?! Looking ahead to our summer of events, it's a good time to highlight what happens in the event of bad weather at our venue.

If you've booked a summer event here at Pangdean and are dreaming of a glorious time in the garden, but the weather has other plans, we are highly adaptable.

In the event of bad weather, we will set up the drinks reception in the Stable and the covered courtyard, which is connected to the Old Barn.

The advantage of our exclusive use means that we are flexible when the weather causes a change of plan, and it will not ruin your day!

A very Happy New Year from all of us here at Pangdean Barn and a big hello to any newly engaged couples!

We thought we would take the opportunity of a new year to reintroduce ourselves to you, should you be starting your search for a wedding venue in the Sussex area.

Pangdean offers an intimate and atmospheric function venue set against the backdrop of the rolling South Downs, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

At the heart of our working farm lies our magnificent oak-framed Sussex barn. Built in 1720, the Old Barn has been lovingly restored to offer a unique wedding or function venue that is exclusively yours for the day.

We are an all-in-one wedding venue. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in the Old Barn, the little Stable and even outdoors using our garden gazebo, Mulberry Lodge, specially built for the purpose.

We have absolutely no corkage charge for your event and can cater your event with our own, incredibly reputable, catering company - Hunger Pangs.

We offer complete exclusivity for your event - Pangdean only hosts one event per day so you are guaranteed exclusive use for your own party.

We are 5 miles North of Brighton and just off the main A23 London to Brighton Road with great access to local train stations, just an hour south of London.
