🥳 Liam’s 40th Birthday at Stoneham Pub! 🎧

We had the absolute pleasure of DJing for Liam’s 40th birthday last night at the lovely Stonham pub on Portland Road.

Their little function room is a great space for an intimate party, with its own bar and a perfect little dancefloor. 🪩

After a few chats with Liam in the lead-up to the party, we put together a great mix of music to suit his tastes and keep the evening flowing. From funk and soul, a dash of 80s, plenty of old-school 90s R&B and a bit of pop, to garage, house, Latin, Afro beats and dancehall. A little bit of everything to keep everyone happy! 🔥

Liam and his friends had a brilliant night, and we’ve had some lovely feedback. It was great to meet Liam and all his fabulous friends!

Back at Pelham House last night for the wedding of Emily & Gareth 💍✨

I absolutely love DJing here. It’s such a stunning venue, and the staff are always so lovely, friendly and helpful.

Emily and Gareth were such a wonderful couple, and they had a brilliant group of friends and family who were well up for a party! 🕺💃

We chatted in the lead-up to the wedding about exactly what they wanted for the evening, including their first dance, a mother & son dance and a dad & daughter dance, which we worked into the evening alongside a proper mix of music.

And it really was an eclectic one, pop, 80s, R&B, rock and even a bit of System of a Down! 😎

The dance floor was pretty much full all night, and I had some lovely feedback from Emily and Gareth at the end of the night, which is always the best way to finish a wedding.

✨ Last night at The Southern Belle, Brighton ✨

I had such a lovely time DJing at The Southern Belle for Michelle’s 50th birthday,
and it was my first time playing there!

They have a fantastic back room which is perfect for private parties, with its own bar, seating area and a proper dance floor. It’s really nicely done out and makes such a great party space. 💃🕺

Scott got in touch with me about DJing for Michelle, and they were honestly such a lovely, friendly, down-to-earth couple.
Michelle gave me a great idea of what she wanted musically, disco, soul, funk, house, Hed Kandi and Ibiza classics, with a little sprinkling of drum & bass thrown in!

And the dance floor was FULL all night. They genuinely didn’t stop dancing! 🪩🔥

I hope you all had an amazing night and enjoyed the music as much as I did.

🇮🇪 WHAT. A. NIGHT. 🇮🇪

Last night I had the absolute pleasure of DJing in Ireland for the amazing Julia & Sean, and honestly… what a party! 🔥

Julia (American) and Sean (Irish) live in Dublin and booked me last year, so we’ve had a whole year of planning, messages and FaceTime calls getting to know them, finding out what they love and building their perfect wedding playlist.

Then it was time to actually make the journey over from Brighton! Matt came along for the adventure, we drove up to Holyhead, crossed over on the ferry and made our way to Dublin ready for the big day.

And what a wedding it was. ❤️

Over 120 guests, an amazing couple with a really clear vision, and one thing I knew pretty quickly… they LOVE EDM! 🙌

So the night was all about big hands-in-the-air tunes, a sprinkling of classics and plenty of those massive dancefloor bangers, Avicii, deadmau5, Calvin Harris, David Guetta and plenty more.

I didn’t even start until 9pm, and they partied right through until 1:30am! It felt less like a wedding reception and more like a proper club night, exactly the vibe they wanted. 🔥

The feedback afterwards was incredible, and hearing them say I’d absolutely smashed it made the whole trip worth it.

Julia & Sean, thank you so much for trusting me with your wedding and for making us feel so welcome. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. ❤️

And yes… I can officially say She Said Events has gone INTERNATIONAL! 🌍🇮🇪😅
