I had a lovely day yesterday at work. Lots of new people had visited our little town to go to the food and drink festival. While in Brightlingsea they checked out our fantastic High Street. I have been thinking a lot recently how to keep my business going as it gets more and more difficult to survive in this convenience , online world. I have always wanted to hang onto being a traditional, local flower shop. Offering a personal service, offering a friendly face, knowing my customers likes and dislikes…… but it is getting so challenging to do this.

After some great feedback from some lovely people yesterday I felt that it is important to try and hang onto that dream - but how?

I am taking a few days away from the shop this week to try to come up with a plan…… I will be open again Thursday at 1pm - 4.30pm, Friday and Saturday as normal. See you soon.

My aqua bubble flowers boxes are designed and arranged to stay in the boxes to be enjoyed. They have everything they need, all you will need to do is top up the water when the box gets a bit light.

At Flo’s it’s all about the flowers so we don’t use lots of packaging so the blooms say it all.

It’s the town show on Monday, I have some great bags of dried materials and accessories for £5 per bag to help you on your way to putting in an entry. The weather is a bit hit and miss over the next few days, so why not get together and create something amazing…..

Open today from 10….. it’s our town show on Monday and they are holding lots of competitions, flower arranging being one of them.

Later today I will be posting a demonstration to give a few easy tips for you to be able to enter. So keep an eye out.
