Plastic Free July has been going since 2011!

These days plastic is, quite frankly, everywhere and it has its uses where items can be reused, shared and eventually at the end of a long and well-used life, recycled. The aim of Plastic Free July is to reduce SINGLE-USE plastic.

What a great challenge; see if you can avoid using common single use plastic such as plastic bags, straws, plastic bottles and coffee cups.
It’s not easy but if everyone gave it a try, it would collectively make a huge difference ☺️

We are very excited today, we have TWO sets of party kit being hired out! A grand total of 180 items being used 🥳🥳

A party kit owner locally was unable to continue hiring their kit and we have gained over 100 new items to use; the photos and item lists will be updated over the next week or so to reflect this.

We are thrilled that we now have many more items available for people to use for their parties, and hope that we can encourage more people to make the swap from wasting money on soggy, disposable paper plates and thin, flimsy plastic cups to borrowing reusable hard-wearing party ware that will last for years!
