What an evening of running a small business can look like in my household… painting by numbers abandoned, laminator out, and preparations underway for our next Stay & Play session!

There’s always something going on behind the scenes, and I’ve been getting everything ready for our September session this week.

And yes… if you spotted the date 👀 there’s a Stay & Play session coming up!

Today’s task: get the Vik & Roo banner out and about! Something I’ve been meaning to do for weeks…

There’s something strangely intimidating about putting a big banner with your business name on it where everyone can see it. Or is it actually being seen putting a big banner out that’s the scary part?! 🤔

I’m not entirely sure why, but apparently this is one of those things that requires a ridiculous amount of talking myself into it!

But… it’s done. One banner out, one to go.

Back after a little summer break! ☀️

Things have been a bit quieter on here during the school holidays. Juggling the day job, Vik & Roo and being ‘fun mum’ doesn’t leave a huge amount of time or energy! 😂

It’s been lovely having a bit of a break, but I’m looking forward to getting back into a bit of a routine now the holidays are coming to an end.

I’ve got 2 Stay & Play sessions booked for September and October, with more updates on these coming soon. 🧸

I’m also really looking forward to having a few more hours each week to put into Vik & Roo — getting out there, spreading the word, connecting with other local businesses and hopefully getting some more bookings in the diary.

So, back to it. Let’s see what the next few months bring 😊

💛 Thank You! 💛

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our soft play setup at Greatworth Summer Fayre yesterday.

It was lovely to meet so many families and chat with both familiar and new faces throughout the day. We hope all the little ones had lots of fun playing!
