Like all good adventures, our journey began in a pub… fighting the occasional beer monster.

These days, however, we are busy building a vibrant and inclusive community of tabletop adventurers by organising events and venues for TTRPG gaming in Dorset.

We're excited to be launching our very first Iron Kingdoms TTRPG campaign at The George Tapps!

If you're looking to step into a rich world of steam-powered warfare, magic, political intrigue and epic adventure, this is your chance to try something beyond traditional fantasy.

☀️ Admin Away Notice ☀️

From 1st–16th August, Madz and Aki will be taking a well-deserved holiday to recharge after a very busy few months.

The community will continue to run as normal. If you need anything while we're away, please reach out to your Venue Rep, Area Rep, or DM, who will be happy to help.

📩 Lisa will also be keeping an eye on our social media and messages, so you'll still receive a reply and be pointed in the right direction if you need anything.

🌾 From History to Adventure 🎲

One of the best things about D&D is that inspiration is everywhere.

Take Lammas, celebrated on the 1st of August. Traditionally a festival marking the first harvest, it was a time of feasting, community, giving thanks, and preparing for the months ahead.

Now imagine that in your campaign...

🌾 The harvest has failed, and something is stealing the crops.
🍞 The village's ceremonial harvest loaf has been cursed.
🎉 A harvest festival becomes the perfect cover for a thieves' guild heist.
🌕 Ancient traditions awaken something beneath the fields.

Real-world festivals like Lammas, Yule, Beltane and Samhain are full of stories, traditions and folklore that can become incredible adventures around your table.

Sometimes the best inspiration for fantasy... comes from history itself. 🖤🎲🌾

⚔️ A HUGE STEP FOR OBSIDIAN D&D ⚔️

We're incredibly excited to announce that Obsidian D&D has been invited to partner with Fabled Rolls at this year's English Medieval Festival!

This is one of the biggest opportunities we've had as a community, and we're proud to be taking four of our Dungeon Masters to represent everything Obsidian is about.

Across the weekend we'll be running fast-paced adventures, introducing hundreds of people to tabletop roleplaying, and showcasing what our community can do.

Over the coming weeks we'll be introducing each of the team, sharing behind-the-scenes progress, sneak peeks at terrain and miniatures, and giving you a look at everything that's going into making this event something special.

This is just the beginning... and we can't wait to take you along for the journey. 🖤🎲⚔️

🛡️Introducing the Guild of Good Adventurers!🛡️

With the help of Sean and Chloe, we're launching the Guild of Good Adventurers at our Monday Bears table!

Instead of one long campaign, the Guild will run a series of short adventures, giving players the chance to try new characters, different classes, and experience a variety of stories.

The Guild will also be home to our Foster a Noob programme. If you're brand new to D&D and want to learn in a friendly, relaxed environment before joining a long-term table, this is the perfect place to start.

A huge thank you to Sean and Chloe for bringing this idea to life, we can't wait to see the Guild's adventures unfold! ⚔️✨
