Your order becomes reserved only when a 50% booking deposit is received. This is paid to reserve your date and is NON-REFUNDABLE. Cakes are first come first serve and I only do a limited number of cakes per week. However, if you need to change dates or move your event, please contact me and
I'll be happy to make accommodating arrangements to the best of my abilities. Final Payment
The final balance is due prior to pickup or delivery ,this is required 7 days prior. If your cake is ordered less than two weeks before the event date, the total amount is due immediately and your order will not be placed until payment is received. The cake will not be provided if final payment is not made. Return Items
Please return any stands, plates and china wear upto 5 days after your event.A deposit may be required for your rented items and will only be refunded after items have been returned. Cake Changes
Changes to your cake order: size, description, flavors, etc. will be accepted until 2 weeks prior to the event date. After that time period I cannot guarantee any changes. Pickup/Delivery and Set-up
Delivery is free within 3 miles of Emma's Cake Cupboard with orders of £20 or more. Unforeseen delays in transit are not grounds for discount or refund. If you plan to pick up your cake, please make arrangements beforehand and please stay to the agreed time. Once a pickup time is confirmed, I can not guarantee my availability should you not arrive within a reasonable time window of 30 minutes. Time slots cannot be changed without 48hr notice. Cancellation Policy
Cakes cancelled prior to 14 days of the event date can be refunded up to 50% of balance paid. The 50% retainer is non-refundable. Cakes cancelled after the 14 day period will not be refunded. If something should occur to affect your scheduled event date, please contact me to discuss options. Communication is key! I will work hard to accommodate you. Emma's Cake Cupboard reserves the right to use any photographs of the finished cake for promotion without compensation. Allergy Disclaimer
My home is not allergen free-it contains nuts,wheat,dairy and egg products. Therefore I cannot completely eliminate cross contamination and will not be responsible for any allergic reactions. Please advise any guests with allergies/sensativities. Though I will try my best to accommodate and do keep gluten free products separate away from everyday ingredients. Guarantee
I promise to do everything in my power to deliver you a cake that exceeds your expectations. I will work with you to make sure you are completely satisfied and happy with your cake. The inspiration and ideas provided are presented as representations of the cake(s). The actual product may vary based on creative interpretation or structural necessity of the cake(s), while maintaining the integrity of the overall look. Emma's Cake Cupboard cannot be held responsible for anything that should happen to the cake once delivery or pickup is complete. Please note that direct sunlight and temperatures of 75 degrees and higher may have drastic and adverse effects on any cake. Disclaimer: In the case of an emergency or an error in your cake delivery, please contact me immediately so I can fix the issue right away! If you are unhappy with your cake for any reason, please contact me the day of your event and explain the situation. In the rare case that you are dissatisfied and would like a refund, you must call the day of your event so your cake can be returned. Without proof that you are indeed unhappy and will not be using the product for your event, I will be unable to refund any portion of your payment. By paying for this cake you agree that certain creative changes may be made to your final design for the sake of stability,structural integrity or other certain emergencies. By paying for this cake it is an act of signing this contract that is legal and binding to the fullest extent. Thank you
