It would be a relaxed, festive workshop where you can create your own fresh wreath, enjoy a glass of Prosecco, a mince pie or two, and get into all the cosy Christmas vibes 🌿🍾🥧

I’m back from France! 🥐 Ate my body weight in croissants, ticked off the Eiffel Tower 🗼, and met every princess in Disneyland (turns out, I’m still waiting on my castle 👑).

Two special tribute wreaths I made for a funeral yesterday 💛🤍

The yellow design was from Priestfield Boxing Club, where he was a much-loved member, and the white and green wreath came from a very close friend.

It’s always a privilege to create flowers for goodbyes. I never take for granted how much these tributes mean to the people giving them, and the ones they’re for.

🌸 A wee bit about how Wild Thistle Floristry works 🌸

Hi everyone! Just a little post to explain how I run things here at Wild Thistle Floristry 💐

I work from home, creating beautiful, bespoke flowers for all occasions — birthdays, weddings, funerals, remembrance, or just because. I offer pre-orders for all types of florist work, and I can also create personalised arrangements and balloon arrangements to suit your style or theme.

Since I run things from my home studio and not a shop, I don’t keep stock on hand. I buy fresh flowers in bulk from the market for each order — so I usually need at least 2 days’ notice. If your flowers aren’t needed until the afternoon, 1 day’s notice may be possible depending on what’s available 🌿

Now and then I’ll have leftover blooms, and I’ll make up a few ‘Florist’s Choice’ arrangements — these are one-offs made with whatever lovely stems I have to hand. Keep an eye on my page for those!
