Cherry on Pop is an event styling studio creating bold, expressive weddings, parties and celebrations that don’t follow the rules. Based in South Lanarkshire and working across Lanarkshire, Glasgow and beyond, I design spaces that sit somewhere between old money elegance and party girl chaos. Think rich colour palettes, dramatic textures, florals, draping and statement styling that feels indulgent

, playful and full of personality. Cherry on Pop is for people who want their celebration to feel more like the best night of their life than a formal tradition. Whether that’s a decadent after-dark wedding, a bold birthday, or a full-glam party moment, every setup is styled with a strong visual point of view and zero copy-and-paste decor. A large part of my work is designed to be reused and reimagined across events rather than treated as disposable. Balloon displays from events are regularly donated to local organisations and community events instead of being popped and thrown away, allowing the work to live on beyond one night. From the first conversation to the final setup, everything is handled in-house, making the process feel easy, collaborative and stress-free. You bring the vision. Let’s create something extra.

This bouquet was designed for the kind of nearlywed who wants their wedding to feel like them, not a watered-down version of what they’re supposed to be.

Rich burgundies, deep reds, dramatic textures and just enough contrast to make people stop scrolling.

If your wedding mood board is less “classic romance” and more “main character energy”, we should probably talk.

It’s been a minute since our last introduction and we’ve had a flurry of new faces around here, so I thought it was time to reintroduce myself...

Hey, I’m Jenni 👋

The slightly unhinged, neurodivergent creative behind Cherry on Pop.

For years I thought I was a jack of all trades, but it turns out I’m actually just a hoe of all hobbies. Combine that with a healthy dose of homosexual audacity, an ever-growing collection of trinkets and vintage finds, a slight hoarding problem, and a series of wildly eclectic career choices, and somehow I ended up here... designing weddings.

And honestly? I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

I’m obsessed with bold colours, contrast, unexpected details and the kind of ideas that make people say, “Can you actually do that?”

The answer is usually, HELL YEAH!

My favourite part of the job is taking a couple’s personality, interests, stories and weird little quirks and turning them into something tangible. Something that feels unmistakably theirs.

Because I don’t believe weddings should be about fitting into a trend, ticking boxes or recreating something you’ve seen a hundred times before.

I think weddings should feel like the people getting married.

Whether that’s an all-white celebration, a pop punk festival-inspired ceremony, a kitsch cèilidh, leopard print boots the house down or something nobody has thought of yet.

The couples who find us are usually looking for something a little different. Alternative couples. Creative couples. Q***r couples. The ones who want their wedding to have personality and aren’t afraid to take up space.

Temporary Tattoo Booths are officially here 💀

Our original 3m x 3m Temporary Tattoo Studio became SUCH a hit at kids parties that we knew we had to create a smaller version for weddings and events too… and honestly? We’re obsessed with how this turned out.

Designed to be more than just some tattoo sheets shoved on the end of a table, this booth is made for couples and events who want the tattoo experience to actually feel like part of the entertainment. A whole moment. A whole vibe. Not an afterthought!

Even better? Our “Get What You Get” capsule machine means the booth can also be hired unattended, making it perfect for weddings, parties, alternative events and late night reception chaos 👀

We can finally share what we’ve been secretly working on behind the scenes 👀🖤

A few months ago, asked us to style the campaign shoot for their next Alternative Wedding Fair in Newcastle and honestly…we’ve been counting down the days until we could show you properly.

If you caught any of our sneaky BTS clips recently, this is what we were building 👀

The brief?
Modern festival wedding…but make it ALTERNATIVE.

Not your typical Coachella boho vibes (which is gorgeous btw, just not where we were going with this one). Think pop punk and emo bands from the 2006 era mixed with a UK festival aesthetic. Darker romance, statement styling, layered textures, a little bit rebellious and the kind of wedding vibe that feels like the best night out you’ve ever had 🖤

We are OBSESSED with how this came together and the whole creative team absolutely smashed it.
