My commitment is to provide deeply meaningful and personal services. This begins with our initial conversation, which I believe is best held face-to-face whenever possible. Meeting you allows for an open and heartfelt discussion, allowing me to understand the unique life of your loved one and shape a service that truly honours their memory.

I understand that in-person meetings aren't always feasible. If you're located elsewhere in the country or overseas, I'm more than happy to arrange a virtual meeting via Zoom or WhatsApp, alternatively we will work closely via email.

I don’t believe that this important conversation should be rushed. I dedicate time to listen to your stories and get to know the person you’ve lost. This unhurried approach helps me understand the desired tone for the service and ensure that every detail is tailored to your family's needs. My goal is to craft a bespoke service from start to finish as individual and unique as your loved one. I am certainly not a same script fits all celebrant.

My role throughout this process is to be patient, supportive and understanding. Having undertaken extensive training over the years, I am proud to be the highest qualified celebrant in the North of England.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would simply like to talk.

If you feel that I've made a difference to your family, when celebrating your loved one, please consider nominating me for the ‘AOIC OUTSTANDING FUNERAL CELEBRANT AWARD’.

Your nomination would mean the world. Nominations close at 9am on Friday 5th September 2025.

2024 I won the ‘AOIC Outstanding Contribution to Celebrancy award’, I was completely blown away. It was an incredible moment, and I'm still so very grateful for everyone who took the time to nominate and vote for me in that category.

This year, 10years on since I became a professional celebrant and delivered my first service. I'm humbled to ask for your support once again. It is always an honour working with your family to celebrate the lives of loved ones and always a privilege to work alongside such amazing funeral directors and their teams. It’s a role never taken for granted.

Thank you so much. 💗

If you need to talk I’m always here 💗

This bank holiday weekend, be kind to yourself and do what’s right for you 💜

Long weekends can feel lonely when you’re grieving. Whether it’s the pressure to be ‘having fun’ or feeling the absence of your loved one.

Some souls just aren't meant to be tamed, and that was definitely today’s gentleman. He was a true free spirit who danced, cartwheeled and blazed his own trail - always barefoot, always with a cheeky grin, and some very loud music 🎶 - a true legend!

Thank you Phillip and all the team for your excellent care and support.

Having been recommended by Lynne at Creating Memories to help her friend and their family, yesterday we shared the story of a very special gentleman. What an incredible story of devotion, love and laughter. 💗

With a photo tribute in the middle, and special stories we used every moment available, sharing a carefully crafted ceremony.

Thank you Becky and all the team at Coop for your service and support. Also thank you Lynne for recommending me - It was an honour to be his celebrant.

In the height of the holiday season, 30 men met last night to be supported, and to help each other.
It was some night...a few lads opened up on incredibly personal stuff, confident they wouldn't be judged, and that what they said would stay in the room.
Andy's Man Club - just doing what we do.

Did you know today was National Bacon Lovers Day!

So apt as we celebrated the story of a young lad who left far too soon, leaving everyone devastated. He was a mischief maker, a gamer and a lad who was as Yorkshire as a proper brew and a bacon butty on a cold morning.

With his service held at Dewsbury Crematorium, we shared his story and a beautiful photo tribute. We then took him to his final resting place and later the stories continued, as everyone enjoyed a bacon butty and cuppa afterwards at the wake.

Thank you Helen and all the team at George Brookes Funeral Partners for your excellent service and support.

Any sudden loss is one of the hardest things. You can spend years trying to piece together what happened.

This morning we were reminded of this as we shared the story of a young life lost too soon. During these difficult times, finding a sense of peace is everything.

The family's decision to use the beautiful chapel at Huddersfield Funeral home on St Thomas Road, Huddersfield, provided a comforting space for everyone to come together, as we shared stories of his life along with his favourite music.

Thank You Helen, John and all the team for your excellent service and support.
