‘How long does it take?!’

As much as I wish I could draw and paint as fast an I am in this clip, I am only human 🤣

The REAL answer is, it takes me roughly 10-15 minutes per painting! (Depending on the number of people in it and the complexity of the outfit!)

This means roughly I can achieve around 4-5 per hour! Not bad going if I say so myself!

I don’t bring anything pre-drawn! No templates! No stencils! Everything is done purely by hand and on demand! (Do I smell a new slogan?? 👀)

Hi!! My name is Amy! And I am the artist behind AH Illustration!

Here’s a little bit about me:
- I’m 30 years old
- I am a mom to a 5 year old daughter
- I come from and live in the West Midlands
- I have a HUGE passion for all things arty!
- I paint, draw, crochet, knit, cross stitch, punch needle and embroider for hobbies!
- I am part of a local musical theatre group!
- I LOVE people! I love meeting new people and having a good natter! (AKA a chatter box!)

I had the absolute privilege of being asked to create illustrations for these two BEAUTIES to celebrate their graduation!! Plus an additional solo illustration for the amazing Sydney, who has worked incredibly hard these last 3 years to finish her degree!

As an artist, I am always looking to perfect my style of painting for my more detailed pieces!

As I offer paintings of wedding venues, it’s so important to me that in my ‘spare time’ I work on certain skills that I need to do my paintings!

This little shop front piece is a testimonial to my commitment to always be learning! This is 9 hours of painting, trying things I’ve not done before!

Mr and Mrs Whitehouse!!This was my first wedding booking EVER back in April this year!!I have developed so much since then and made many more memories with other couples! I will forever be greatful for this couple for allowing me start my business at their special day!!

I am SO excited to annouce I will have a space at the Abbey Hotel, Golf and Spa's next wedding fayre on SUNDAY 8TH JUNE 2025!

There will be lots of vendors here at the day (and maybe a few cheeky discounts!)

It doesnt matter when your wedding is planned for (or even if it isnt booked yet!) Wedding Fayres are fun and realxed, and this venue is simply beautiful to spend the day at! There will be something here for every couple!
