War Memorial Flag Pole FACTS.
Cllr Benington and Cllr Stevens invested personal money for the installation, associated costs and the upkeep of the flag pole since its installation in 2019.
On the retirement of Cllr Benington the mantel was transferred to the Biggin Hill Business Association, who continue to care for the flagpole alongside our Flag Master, Alan.
In a normal year, we fly 3 different flags, at appropriate times during the year.
The Saint George’s Flag on and around St George’s Day
The Royal British Legion/Poppy Appeal flag on and around Rememberance Week.
The Union Flag for all other times of the year.
If anyone has any further questions PM.

2025 Santa Sleigh Run - the BH Business Association would like to thank each and everyone who made this years event a huge success.
It was a delight to see so many willing elves helping on both evenings as well as meeting so many Santa believers both young and old along our routes.
It is brilliant that I can announce that we raised a total of £1,600 profit.
All monies will be given over to the Church Road Rec playground improvement programme.
Special thanks must go to Beckenham Rotary for the loan of the sleigh, Perry Cole our driver and of course Santa and Rudolph.
