After a pretty full on week I’ve just arrived back from a wonderful weekend of celebrating my 10 year anniversary with my partner Ben! You’ve probably seen him at markets doing all the heavy lifting, delivering your orders, wrapping your purchases and even helping with setting up events but did you know he’s also doing so much more behind the scenes? 👀
Ben is the absolute king of conditioning your fresh flowers, the amount of compliments I get saying that your orders have lasted longer than expected are all down how Ben has helped prep! He’s driven me thousands of miles in my pursuit of floral training, scrubbed hundreds of buckets, stayed up all night while I’ve worked flat out and gotten up in the middle of the night to start a day. He’s collected orders from wholesale helps with drying flowers and has trained his eye in colour combos. He memorised every flower and foliage I’ve ever offered and dug me beds for planting, all while having his own full time job 😮💨
The last 10 years have been a total blast and I’m fully aware that I wouldn’t be in the position of working full time for myself without his help.
