It’s a long one 😬…

A little insight into what I do once i arrive at your wedding venue 👀✨

From calming nerves and checking in with suppliers, to making sure everyone’s where they need to be before the ceremony begins… there’s usually a lot more going on behind the scenes than people realise 😍

Every celebrant has their own style and way of doing things, but one thing we all have in common is wanting our couples to feel relaxed and have a ceremony they absolutely love 🤍

Being a celebrant is so much more than standing up and speaking on the day and sorting your legal stuff 🤍

It’s personal. My couples trust me with their stories the beautiful, the emotional, the meaningful and I believe that trust goes both ways. I like to show up as my full, genuine self too, because that connection is what makes a ceremony truly special.

To be given the responsibility of creating something for one of life’s biggest milestones is never lost on me… it’s an absolute honour every single time 🤍

As a Humanist Celebrant, one of the first things I tell my couples is this; there’s no right or wrong way to have your ceremony. 🤍

Yes, there are a few legal bits that need to be said and done, but everything else? Completely malleable. Your ceremony should feel like you.

Whether that’s heartfelt and sentimental, relaxed and informal or packed with laughter like this moment, down below. Or a mix of all of that loveliness.

Because love = joy. And joy often sounds like laughter 😆
