Good morning all , we still have 2 spaces at the mini craft event on Saturday14th December that is running alongside the normal saturday market at Bedworth Covered Market we already have cakes , bread , art and jam its £10 payable on the day to the council , 2 x 6ft tables supplied time 8am til 2pm , pop us a message if interested, Debs 🙂 Nuneaton and Bedworth town centres

Omg what an amazing turn out, thank you to all our amazing stall holders sticking with us through all the last minute changes, we got there in the end, 🥰 and big thank you to the public for braving the weather and coming out in force, thank you to all the lads and ladies for all you help Nuneaton and Bedworth town centres, and for the food vendors for keeping us warm and full, and a massive thank you to our Santa and elf and the grinch of course too, a massive thankyou to all I may have missed 🥰 more photos to follow

So yesterday the typical totally unpredictable great british weather put a spanner in the works , in that the forecasted weather for Saturday look set to cancel our event in its entirety , but , after lots of walking , telephone calls and conversations , stress and almost tears, the market element and the actual switching on the lights can go ahead , but no fireworks or fair as it’s just to unsafe to do so In the winds forecast . the wonderful vicar at All saints church agreed to provide a home for our 20 outside stalls , which means they will be safe dry and warm, and between Katie myself and Chris from the council we juggled things about and have fit in area inside the covered market where our wonderful dancers from phase 1 and Julie Bromich can perform . We also fitted in the phase one steel band pr productions promoting Aladdin and of course a sound system so we can have Christmas tunes . We still have carol singers planned for 6.45pm as well. So guys and girls all the hard work over the past 2 months isn’t in vain ok not as grand as we planned but hey there’s always next year to make it bigger and better , THE LIGHT SWITCH ON IS STILL ON ! I will be posting what extra we have tomorrow ie , food vendors , activities etc … p.s booking for Santa has to close Monday so his trusty elves can go make the gifts , ready for the littles ones he’s In his grotto from4pm until 7pm and it’s prebooked only , not many slots left .
