Mitch will be on the decks providing music between the fabulous live entertainment 🎧

Date for your diary! DORSET DAY PARTY on Sunday, 31st May from 12 noon to 5pm in Beaminster Memorial Playing Field.
Organised by Beaminster Town Council and open to the public with all ages welcome (please note that dogs are not permitted).
FREE ENTRY and its going to be a fun filled afternoon with music, food and bars! 🎈🎶🌭

I love it when a post sparks a reaction, and the last one about early booking definitely did.

So here’s a little more truth, because we value transparency..

Menopause of Sound, Exeter, currently has 1️⃣7️⃣ tickets sold.
That’s 1️⃣7️⃣ brilliant women already saying yes to a gorgeous night.

We need 5️⃣0️⃣ to make the event viable.

Our average number of guests has been 140 so we KNOW our fabulous community love these events.

I’m expecting numbers to rise after payday next week, so we’re holding steady until then.

If you’re planning to come, now’s the moment to jump in and help us get this one over the line.

📣 Can I share something real? With love, always. 🫶

At RCG Entertainment, we don’t run huge, agency‑produced events.

💜 We host events that matter to people, the kind that feel personal, intentional, and full of heart. And because of that, I want to share a little behind‑the‑scenes truth.

Whenever an event gets cancelled, we often hear:

“Oh no! I was going to buy my ticket…”

And we completely understand. Those intentions are genuine.

But here’s the thing most people never see:
As a small, independent event organiser, we make decisions based on what’s visible, not what’s hoped for.

Events like ours don’t disappear because there’s no interest, we absolutely know there is. They disappear because the interest isn’t visible early enough for us to commit to venues, staff, equipment, and all the little details that make a meaningful night happen.

➡️That’s why buying tickets early is essential

To help, we offer a no‑quibble refund policy* because life happens, and we get that.

👀 If we can see the interest early, we can make the event happen.
🙈 If we can’t see it, we simply can’t commit.

✨ Galentine’s 2026 — the debrief ✨

What an afternoon.
So much dancing, so much laughter, and only a couple of quiz‑type games because it turns out I am absolutely not disciplined enough to write a full quiz 🤣

A few honest highlights from the event:
💗 Someone told me they’d have preferred more quiz, which is totally fair. I offered them a refund because I want everyone to feel they got what they came for, and they still said they enjoyed the rest of the event.
💗 One woman said how much she loved it being women‑only, it felt safe, relaxed, and easy to just be herself.
💗 Another woman came completely on her own and within minutes was chatting, joining in, and dancing with people she’d never met.
💗 And a big shout‑out to Kerry from Be More Betty,it was so lovely having her there, and her award‑winning balm went down an absolute treat.
💗 The gifts and free first drink were a hit too!

Thank you Louise for being a superstar on the bar.🫶

Thank you to everyone who came, supported, danced, chatted, and brought such gorgeous energy.
You made the whole thing feel special.

Feet up now, lovelies, we earned it.
