✨ WE’RE HOLDING OPEN AUDITIONS! ✨
For the first time in forever, Pixie Dust Parties is holding an open audition, looking for enthusiastic, talented performers to join our team of character entertainers across Bath, Bristol & the South West!
We’re looking for performers who can bring beloved characters to life and create genuinely magical experiences for children and families. We run several events, and shows, throughout the year, from family events to scripted musical performances. Our performers may also be booked for birthday parties, community events, weddings, corporate events, school visits and other special occasions.
THE ROLE
Depending on the character/event, our performers may:
Perform as a princess or character
Perform in scripted seasonal shows
Meet and greet with guests
Sing and lead songs
Dance and teach simple dances
Tell stories and lead interactive activities
Pose for photos and interact with guests
Stay in character throughout the experience
Create a fun, welcoming and memorable experience for every guest
The great thing about being a Pixie Dust Character Performer is that you choose which events you work, and when. No one is expected to attend every event, but equally you can accept as much work as you like!
WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO:
Are confident performers with experience in acting, with singing experience preferred (but not required.)
Are genuinely enthusiastic about working with children
Are comfortable improvising and thinking on their feet
Have a warm, energetic and engaging personality
Can confidently interact with groups of children and parents
Are reliable, professional and punctual
Have some availability for weekends and school holidays
Have their own transport or are reliably able to travel to bookings around the South West
Previous professional experience is a bonus, but not essential. We’re much more interested in your performance ability, personality and potential! ✨
You don’t need to look exactly like a particular character either. We’re interested in performers who can capture the spirit, personality and magic of the characters we portray. 💕
THE AUDITION
We’re holding open auditions in Bath, and we’d love to meet performers who think they could be a great fit for the team.
