๐Ÿšจ Today I saw that somebody had prepared over 200 helium balloons to be released here in South Wales.

And honestly, this needs to be talked about.

That โ€œbeautifulโ€ moment can become a serious threat to wildlife. Balloons and ribbons can end up in our oceans, rivers and countryside, where animals can eat them, become tangled, injured or killed.

Balloons donโ€™t disappear โ€” they become litter. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿข (I think fines should be put in place)

And letโ€™s be clear: any responsible balloon artist or events business should refuse to provide a balloon release. No booking, payment or event is worth knowingly putting wildlife and our environment at risk.
(The business providing should also be fined)

๐Ÿšซ Donโ€™t release them. Donโ€™t offer them. Donโ€™t encourage them.

KEEP BALLOONS ON THE GROUND, NOT IN OUR ENVIRONMENT.
