💙🐾 Bluey birthday fun! 🎉
We had the joy of creating this adorable setup for a fabulous little superstar turning 2! Our small sailboard was dressed with a 6ft organic garland in gorgeous Bluey colours, paired with a beautiful number stack to complete the look. 🎈

We had the pleasure of creating balloon columns with personalised photo balloons to mark two brilliant occasions – the reopening of The Wellington Pub in Dalton and the grand opening of Admiral Casino! 🍻🎰

🚨 Balloon Bandit Alert! 🎈🕵️‍♀️
If anyone is in or around Portland Walk / Barrow town centre this evening (around 8:50pm), and happens to spot a black pole about 5ft long lying around – please let us know!

It’s part of one of our balloon stands, and sadly, some town centre idiots decided to nick it from a display we’d set up to celebrate the grand opening of Admiral Casino tonight.

We’d really appreciate it being returned – no questions asked, just want our gear back! 🙏

✨ Another outing for our shimmer wall and selfie station – this time for the amazing Unity Festival! 🎉

We went with a stunning colour combo of deep blue, mint green, sea foam, blue glass, and white sand – and just look at how beautifully it all came together 🤩

Set against the backdrop of the gorgeous Town Hall window, everything looked absolutely magical. The light streaming through made the whole setup shimmer even more ✨💙

Thank you for having us as part of this brilliant celebration of community and togetherness – we loved every minute!

You know it’s a big job when both the van and the pick-up are full to bursting 😅
We pulled out all the stops for this one:

Helping you Celebrate for 36 Years

36 years ago, J S Cards was born, a tiny single stall selling buttons, cotton, needles, oh and greetings cards in plastic margarine tubs. My wonderful Nanna, now 99 years old and still going strong, looked after things on a temporary basis until my Dad worked out what to do with it ... Years later, the greetings cards took over. Dad and Nanna worked together to bring their loyal customers an exceptional service, and a vast array of beautiful cards (the margarine tubs are still useful!) Time has meant a few changes along the way, a stall expansion, new products, helium balloons and too many other things to mention.

Nanna officially retired, although she still to this day comes in to put us right and this year Dad decided it was his turn to take it easy, so he handed the reins over to me and so ‘For Any Occasion’ was born. We are determined to follow in the footsteps of my family by providing exceptional service to our loyal customers, but with great big plans for the future so you can celebrate in style with those you care about.
