After Sunday completely blew us away with the turnout at Holme Moss, weβve been thinkingβ¦ why stop there? π
What started as a few photos quickly turned into an unofficial car meet, loads of conversations, and an amazing atmosphere. So now itβs time for the next stepβ¦
THE HOLMFIRTH CAR SPOTTER DRIVE OUT πΈ
Weβre planning a scenic Peak District route starting from Holmfirth and looping through some of the best driving roads around:
π Holmfirth
ποΈHolme Moss
ποΈ Lady Bower reservoir
π Snake Pass (we are aware there is a road closure on this date. But this route misses it. We think! ππ¬)
ποΈ Digley Reservoir
π Peak District roads & views
Approx:
π 2 hour actual driving route, plus photo stops along the way, estimate around 4 hours in total maybe?
π Around 55 miles
π All cars welcome
IMPORTANT π
This is NOT a cruise, race or fast-driving event.
This is simply a relaxed drive out for car enthusiasts to enjoy the roads, scenery, cars and atmosphere together π
No one left behind.
No dangerous driving.
No hooligan behaviour.
Just a proper convoy, steady away, taking in the views, letting the passing public take in the views of our convoy, stopping for photos, content and probably a coffee somewhere along the route βπΈ

Please make sure to follow our page too for any updates.
- Please could everyone comment on this post or send us a direct message to confirm you will be coming, just to give us a rough idea of numbers.
- We will also be looking for support lead cars and additional people to take photos. If you would be interested in these roles please get in touch.
- Also looking for local sticker makers.
- If possible please bring at least 1 passenger as we would love to get as many photos from as many people as possible along the way. Obviously if your driving you canβt do this.
DRAFT Route Proposal. We will set this firm once we hear from The Huntsman and gauge how many maybe coming.
10am onwards - Meet at The Huntsman (TO BE CONFIRMED), await everyone to arrive. Grab a coffee and some breakfast to fill up on.
12pm - Leave the Huntsman
Head into Holmfirth for photos and videos of the convoy passing through.
- Up Dunford Road towards Langsett
- Pass Langsett
- Onto snakes pass towards Ladybower Resevoir
- Pass the beautiful reservoir and roads
- Depending on numbers. if we do see a suitable location to stop, we will along the way.
- Head back towards Holme Moss
- Stop at Holme Moss for awesome group photo
- Head back to The Huntsman via Digley Resovoir
4pm ish at a guess - well deserved soft drinks and chats with all, before heading our seperate ways.
Once all confirmed we will release full map details and etc.
