Studio 3 Arts is an issue driven arts organisation delivering visual, digital and performing arts programmes, principally in the London Boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Waltham Forest, Redbridge and Havering.

With great sadness, we confirm that Studio 3 Arts has today been placed into liquidation, despite our best efforts to be able to continue.

Barking and Dagenham Council has stepped up, and is working closely with Arts Council England to see how the amazing programme of dance, music and engagement activities previously run by Studio 3 Arts can still be there for the borough’s young people and the wider community.

We are so very sorry to have to bring Studio 3 Arts’ story to an end, but we know that its legacy is here in our community; in the creativity of the very many people who have participated in, volunteered with, worked for and supported this ground-breaking organisation.

Special thanks go to the small team that has sustained S3A’s programme through tough times this last year.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of over 30 years of creativity and community engagement.

Kicking off today! Meet Gail one of our artists for PAGE STAGE SCRIPT!🎭

You don’t want to miss Gails piece: WAYLA - “What Are You Looking At!?” is a theatrical comedy show that explores the meaning of Blackness in the UK from the viewpoint of a Nigerian comedian who has recently moved over here. As she struggles to fit in, what seemed so straightforward gets even more complicated till it eventually spirals out of control.
