🦁 Meet Hollie — The Heart Behind Little Lion Events 🦁
Hi everyone, I’m Hollie, the face (and the chaos) behind Little Lion Events. Some of you will already know me from Glow+Play, where I fell head over heels in love with creating fun, colourful, family-friendly events.
Now I’m taking that passion and pouring it into my own little dream, inspired by our gorgeous boy Leo — our very own Little Lion. Everything we do here is built around family, community and creating magical moments without the hefty price tag.
Alongside my partner Joshua, we’re bringing soft play, décor, bouncy castle hire, community events and all things party-related to Bargoed, New Tredegar and the surrounding areas. We’re a proper family business with big hearts and even bigger ideas, and we honestly can’t wait to share everything we’ve got planned.

🦁 Meet Joshua — My Partner in Life, Chaos, and Little Lion Events 🦁
Josh has been such a huge part of this journey, more than either of us ever imagined at the start. Funnily enough, when we first met three years ago, we joked about having a business together one day… and here we are, actually doing it. Full circle moment unlocked.
He started out just helping me with Glow+Play — turning up to lend a hand, keep me calm, and helping sort things behind the scenes. But somewhere along the way, he slid right into being my full business partner. And honestly? It just feels right.
I’m super lucky to have a partner who genuinely supports every idea, shares the same passion, and believes in what we’re building together. He’s incredible with the kids too, whether he’s helping them play, chatting away, or dressed up as a character. The little ones absolutely love him.
From Glow+Play helper, to my balance in the madness, to co-creator of Little Lion Events… we’ve grown into this dream together. And building something for Leo and for our community as a team is honestly the most special part🥰
🦁 Meet Leo — Our Little Apprentice and the Real Boss of Little Lion Events 🦁
And now for the star of the show… the reason behind the name… and the smallest (but loudest) member of the team: Leo.
If you’ve ever seen us setting up, sometimes our apprentice is there and you’ll know he takes his role VERY seriously. He’s our quality-control inspector, our balloon tester, our soft-play climber-in-chief, and the first one to spot a rogue ball pit ball rolling across the hall. He also gives out free smiles, waves, and “hellos” to anyone who looks his way. Networking king.
Little Lion Events was inspired by him, and everything we’re building is for his future. He’s grown up around the madness, the creativity, the early-morning setups, and the late-night planning — and somehow he loves every second. Whether he’s toddling around with his toy tools or supervising from his pram like a tiny foreman, he brings so much joy to what we do.
He might be small, but trust me… he runs the show more than anyone else.
And the truth is, Little Lion Events isn’t just a business… it’s our family’s story in motion. We’ve had the struggles, we’ve had the setbacks, and we’ve grafted harder than anyone will ever really see. But standing here with Josh by my side and Leo toddling along as our tiny CEO, we’re living proof that it can be done. You can start from nothing, you can build from the tough days, and you can turn a small idea into something beautiful for your community. Together, as a family, we want to show other people that their dreams are worth chasing too — no matter how wild, messy or chaotic the journey looks. If we can do it, so can you. 💛
