Yesterday I headed to the Flowers From The Farm regional meet-up with North East & East Midlands members, kindly hosted by Greystone Flowers at their beautiful farm and brand-new nursery 🌱

It truly was a lovely day catching up with neighbouring flower farmers and meeting some new faces. The inspiration, enthusiasm and genuine passion in the group was honestly a bit overwhelming—in the very best way, I love it!

A huge thank you to greystoneflowers for hosting us so generously, and massive congratulations on their exciting new nursery venture 💚

Days like these really remind me why this community is so special. 🌸🥰

So lovely to be part of Thornbridge Estate Weddings & Events Wedding Fair ✨

It was my first ever one and I met so many wonderful couples and came away feeling truly humbled and warm hearing all the lovely comments about my flowers and work 🤍 It was such a beneficial day — and I’ve got some very exciting weddings in the pipeline that I can’t wait to discuss in more detail 🌿💐

That’s a wrap on Christmas wreath workshops this year 🎄✨
I still can’t quite believe I hosted 98 of you over the past three weeks — what an absolutely unbelievable way to end 2025!

Thank you so much to everyone who came along, had lots of laughter, fun and supported me. What an incredible three weeks it’s been — I’m so grateful 🤍

The story behind The Never Ordinary Sprout Wreath:
Every Christmas Eve my family heads into Bakewell for last-minute shopping and a tiny (but mighty) pub crawl. One year my Mum bought a whole stalk of Brussels sprouts, handed us each some…and told us to go hide them in the most bizarre place we could find.
Pub loo? ✔️
On top of a lamp post? ✔️
Random bench? ✔️
You name it — one of us has probably done it!

There were no prizes, just the joy of knowing some unsuspecting soul would stumble across a lonely Christmas sprout. The tradition stuck, and we still do it now.

I created the sprout wreath idea a couple of years ago and it has now become my own little Christmas tradition here at Thornbridge Blooms — so grab yours while you can!
