❤️ Your personal cheerleader ❤️

This photo pretty much sums me up 😁

I’ll never be just the person who turns up on your wedding day, says the words and sends you off into married life (unless that is all you're looking for 😊)

Oh no. Not me. I’m your cheerleader. Your hype woman. Your professional encourager and your positive pal ❤️

I’ll cheer you on when you’re planning, calm things when you panic, celebrate the little wins as well as the big ones, help you navigate the wobbles and generally remind you that you've totally got this 😁

And it doesn’t stop when I say those magic words and you head off into your married life. I’ll still be cheering you on from the sidelines because I genuinely love seeing people happy and that's why I leave our wedding group chat open for as long as you like 😊

I’ve always been a glass-half-full, come on, we can do this kind of person. I love positivity, encouragement and making people feel like they can take on the world, always letting them know I have their back. I think my Peak of the Week posts show that too as I’m always looking for the good stuff, celebrating the wins and finding something to smile about ❤️

So really, becoming a celebrant was inevitable. I get to spend my working life surrounded by love, laughter and brilliant people and cheer them on while I’m at it ❤️

Consider me your wedding celebrant with added pom-poms 😆

So, if you fancy having your very own professional wedding cheerleader in your corner, you know where I am 😊

Thank you to Clair and Andy for giving me permission to share this gorgeous photo from Canvas and Peach ❤️

❤️ Feedback Friday ❤️

Today’s lovely words come from Pip and Robert, or should I say, the new Mr and Mrs Ridland! 🥂

I had the absolute joy of marrying these two wonderful people at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum a few weeks ago and oh, what a day it was! ❤️

A beautiful couple, a gorgeous love story, a proposal in Rome 🇮🇹 and two people who were just an absolute pleasure to work with. I had so much fun getting to know them and helping bring their ceremony to life 😊

And because they are absolute stars, they’ve also very kindly shared some of their wedding photos with me 📸. Once wedding season calms down a wee bit, I’ll do a proper post because these two and their day were absolutely stunning 😍

And I’ve actually got quite a collection of wedding photos from my couples over the summer, so expect Aisle Be Damned to make its triumphant return towards the end of the year when I’ve finally caught up with myself! 🤣

Thank you, Mr & Mrs Ridland, for trusting me to be a wee part of your amazing day. It was an absolute pleasure. ❤️

If you are getting married and want a ceremony that’s as fabulous, fun and unique as you are then come have a blether with me. ❤️

❤️ Patricia + Alan ❤️

I had the enormous pleasure of marrying Patricia and Alan at the gorgeous Hollybush Inn, surrounded by their closest family and friends ❤️

This amazing couple actually knew each other as teenagers when they used to go to the old Ayr Ice Rink. Life took them in different directions and they both went on to live rich and full lives before fate decided they weren't quite finished with each other and they bumped into one another in a garden centre six years ago ❤️

They love to travel and are quietly ticking some amazing places off their bucket list together 🏞

Patricia looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful pale pink dress, while Alan looked very handsome in his kilt❤️

As I left, they were settling down to enjoy some of the amazing food the Hollybush Inn is known for, and I drove home smiling 😃

Because sometimes love takes the scenic route. Sometimes it finds you when you're least expecting it. And sometimes your teenage crush turns up again in a garden centre years later 🥰

There is no right age to fall in love, no deadline for finding your person, and no such thing as being 'too late'. So if you're thinking, 'Is it too late for us?', I reckon Patricia and Alan would probably say absolutely not ❤️

Your love story doesn't need to follow anyone else's timeline. It just needs to be yours 😊

❤️ Peak of the Week ❤️

What a fabulous and busy journey to the peak this week!

Three amazing weddings and another one today, loads of lovely people met at the Troon Wedding Fayre, new bookings coming in and ceremony planning meetings squeezed in around the chaos 💍❤️

And if you met me at Troon, check your emails! I’ve sent you one, but it may have rudely wandered into your junk folder 😂

The only sadness this week has been saying goodbye to an icon, Dolly Parton 💔

There’s a line from a Randy Travis song that says:

'It’s not what you take when you leave this world behind you, but what you leave behind you when you go'

And what Dolly left behind is pretty bloody special ❤️

So as I head into another week, I’ll be trying to live life the way Dolly did, with love, kindness, laughter and a little bit of sparkle ❤️

❤️ Jessie + Scott – 22/08/2026 ❤️

What a fabulous day celebrating Jessie and Scott at the Riverside Lodge Hotel in Irvine on Saturday ❤️

These two are SO in love that Jessie couldn't wait to get down the aisle to marry Scott, so much so that she forgot to take her son with her! 😂

Scott, aka Mr Worldwide, made his own entrance to Fireball 🔥 and the two of them even managed a sneaky mid-ceremony kiss, encouraged by their guests, before I got to say the words ❤️

There was so much fun and laughter throughout the ceremony and, judging by the photos I've seen, that carried right on into the evening 😊
And of course, I had to match the colour scheme! My new red jacket matched the red stripe in the Rangers tartan perfectly although it also gave strong Ringmaster vibes. 🎪 So if anyone needs a celebrant/ringmaster crossover, I may have found my post-wedding-season career! 😂

Always fab working alongside brilliant suppliers – Stephanie and the team at Riverside, C&J Events, and the wonderful Karen Simpson Photography.

Another wedding where I drove home with the biggest grin on my face 😁

If you want a celebrant who will match your colour scheme AND bring the chat, you know where I am 😉

So lucky to be the person who got to marry Allison and Graeme after almost 30 years together ❤️

23/08/2026

Oh, what a day! 🥰

I first met Clair and Andy at Troon Wedding Fayre last year. No date sorted, but they stopped for a chat, enjoyed my witty banter 😉, took my details and clearly liked the cut of my jib because they got back in touch when they were ready to make it official! 😊

These two genuinely LOVE having fun together, and their ceremony was packed with hilarious tales, gorgeous moments and a whole lot of heart ❤️

And their witnesses were Clair’s grandparents, who have been together for over 70 years! How bloody lovely is that? ❤️

I also had a first… the ceremony started 20 minutes early because Clair was ready! Usually it’s the bride’s prerogative to be late, but this time it was her prerogative to be EARLY. And frankly, I respect it 😊

After their intimate ceremony in Clair’s mum and dad’s garden, they headed off to Troon Town Hall for a MASSIVE party — and from what I’ve seen so far, it was legendary! 🎉

Huge thanks to the fab supplier team: 📸 Heather & Georgia 🎥 Jason 🎻 Emma on violin ✨ Kymn for delivering the gorgeousness

And most importantly, thank you Mr + Mrs Muir for stopping to chat with me at that wedding fayre last year. Look where that wee chat got us! ❤️

And guess where I’m off to TODAY? Troon Wedding Fayre! 🎉

So if you’re there, come and find me. Stop for a blether, enjoy the banter and let’s see if your wee wedding fayre chat ends with me marrying you too 😉❤️

A word of warning, you might meet me, blether to me and maybe even book me. 😉

Now that would be a massive tick on your to do list!

❤️ Feedback Friday ❤️

Today's gorgeous words come from the new Mrs and Mrs Clinton-Spence, who I had the absolute joy of marrying last Saturday at the stunning Boreland, Loch Tay 🏞

I had so much fun chatting with their guests before the ceremony, getting everyone excited and soaking up the energy. And when the Mexican Wave started, apparently Jen and Lynsey could hear it coming as they made their entrance! 😂

I always arrive early to get set up and I love being there as guests arrive. I chat, I blether and I get to know the people who love my couples most. By the time the ceremony starts, we're often old pals, whether they were looking for one or not 😊

Not every couple wants cheering, Mexican Waves and a celebrant who basically becomes part of the entertainment and that's absolutely fine because it is your day, your way and I create the ceremony and vibe that you want ❤️

But Jen and Lynsey wanted relaxed, fun and very much Disco Le***an 🧡💗❤️

And this feedback tells me I absolutely nailed it and to be asked if I was coming back, what a compliment 😁

Disco le****ns unite! 🧡💗❤️

Encore requests might now be my new measure of success. So if you're looking for your celebrant and fancy testing the theory at your wedding, then let’s have a blether ❤️
