It's biennial time babbbbyyyy!! 🩷

Yes technically I am still on maternity leave but some of next year's flowers will begin as early as now!!!! Can you believe it! I always forget how much time, love and a lot of patience goes into these flowers 🌺

I'm going to make a start sowing some biennials today. Things such as Foxgloves, Hespiris, Honesty etc just to name a few! 🌱

It feels soooooo good to get my hands back in the soil and have a rummage through my seed boxes 🀩 already looking forward to next season πŸ’ definitely not looking forward to tidying up the flower field though hahaha holy moly! It's wild out there πŸ˜†πŸ˜…πŸ«£πŸ₯΄

I have missed you all soooo much! Thanks for your patience and for sticking around πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ™

Edith Hearne 🩷🍼 our little full moon baby girl arrived early hours Thursday 2nd April πŸŒ•

We free birthed our beautiful girl at home just us two and our incredible doula πŸ’– the most magical, raw, euphoric experience of our lives. Anyone who knows me knows how much I believe in nature knowing best 🫢 I listened to my body and our baby and completely surrendered to nature's way. Beyond grateful for everything!! ✨

The first picture is actually of Stanley as a baby 🍼 I'm annoyed I couldn't find this baby grow for Edie 🌱 nevermind! How exciting, a new mini flower farmer in the making πŸ˜‰πŸŒΈπŸŒ»πŸŒ·

Thank you so much for everyone's love and support πŸ₯² as always it means the world. Enjoying this precious time as a family of five (including Ned) πŸΆπŸ«ΆπŸ’—

We've reached Winter Solstice, the darkest of the days are now behind us. Winter is a time for slowing down and looking inward. Although it's a busy time for us flower farmers and growers! I'm spending my time slightly differently this time around. For obvious reasons I'm not very mobile and energetic at the moment due to growing a human being πŸ˜΄πŸ˜… but I'm also choosing this time to slow down just because. We don't always need to be busy and in such a rush, nature slows down and so should we. We are nature after all!

I want to take this moment to thank every single person who has supported me and my business in some way shape or form. I promise you not one single thing goes unnoticed. I appreciate everything everyone has done whether you brought flowers, helped spread the word, shared/liked my posts on here, or even believed and trusted in me to provide flowers for your special events. It all means the absolute world. To have built this little dream of mine into something so special and close to my heart. I'm crying writing this (probably the pregnancy hormones!). But there are no words to express my gratitude for this. What. A. Dream.

I'm still going with the business, but as you are aware things will look a little different for a short while... Our lives are changing slightly so my days will look slightly different. I won't be able to have muddy hands as often whilst nurturing a newborn πŸ’–

I definitely won't be as active online as I once was, but I am not vanishing so please do stick around. I really do mean it when I say it means everything to have our little chats and messages on here. This platform has introduced me to so many new friends 🫢

I will no longer be doing event flowers, subscription flowers and other big commitments (for now!!). I am choosing to press the breaks on these things whilst I lean into my family more. However I am so excited for everything that lies ahead and am hoping to share some bits with you soon. I don't want to make any empty promises so I won't share my plans just yet! In case things take slightly longer to organize - we all know how unpredictable babies etc can be πŸ˜†πŸ™ˆ
