Coming up this weekend. I'm going to Ashbourne for the new ARTbourne Arts Trail.

My display will be in Yew Tree Records on Dig Street (right in the town centre), but there will be over 100 artists set up in various locations around Ashbourne. It's on Saturday & Sunday!

The final artist reveal is here… 🎨

In just over 36 hours, Artbourne Art Trail begins and Ashbourne town centre will be filled with artists, pop ups, creativity, colour and conversation.

Over 100 artists.
20 venues.
Historic buildings, hidden gardens, churches, shops and unexpected spaces all transformed for one weekend only.

From painting and textiles to mixed media and everything in between, every artist taking part has helped shape what this weekend is going to become — and we genuinely can’t wait to see the town come alive.

This isn’t just about seeing artwork on walls. It’s about meeting the people behind it, watching artists at work, exploring spaces you might never normally step inside and spending a day exploring Ashbourne in a completely different way.

This weekend (30 & 31 May) I’m taking part in the ARTbourne Art Trail in the lovely town of Ashbourne. More than 100 artists will be located in 20+ historic venues around the town. You’ll find potters, painters, weavers, sculptors, ceramicists, jewellers, textile artists … plus the odd photographer. 🤗 There’s also live music, street food and art demonstrations.

You simply buy a wristband for £5, which gives you entry to all the venues for the whole weekend, plus a trail map and an artist guide booklet, and then you wander the trail at your own pace. Children under 12 are free with an adult wristband holder.

You’ll find me with a full range of my products in the Town Hall, which is in the centre of the town opposite the Market Place. It would be lovely to see some of you there! 👋🏼

One of the questions we’ve been asked most is… where do I park? 🚗

The good news is there are plenty of parking options around Ashbourne, all within easy walking distance of the trail.

We’ve highlighted the main car parks along with the nearest place to collect your wristband, trail map and artist guide so you can get exploring as quickly as possible.

We’ve also arranged for QEGS (Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School) to be available as an overflow car park for Artbourne visitors across the weekend — a huge help as we prepare to welcome lots of visitors into the town 💚

With 100+ artists across 20+ venues, plus live music, street food, workshops and demonstrations, we recommend allowing plenty of time to enjoy everything on offer and exploring the trail at your own pace.

Please use designated car parks wherever possible and, if parking on the street, be considerate of residents, driveways and access routes.

👀 Venue Teaser…

One of the venues taking part in this year’s Artbourne Art Trail has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment and has just reopened its doors.

For one weekend, two of its beautifully renovated halls will be home to 35 artists, giving visitors the chance to meet the creatives behind the work, chat about their making process and explore this newly transformed space at the same time.
