Great night at The Globe Inn Andover for Karaoke!
Also, Martins birthday bash! I'm so glad he had a great night and everybody turned up to celebrate with him.
Thank you as always to the bar staff, management and door staff for looking after you all. Without them, none of it would be possible.

I would also just like to clear a couple of things up, after some things were said this evening, regarding the way I run my karaoke.

I will not tolerate rudeness and being called names, just because I do not take requests after 11.30pm.
Everyone who comes to my karaoke, knows this has always been what happens. I don't change the rules to suit myself.

Sadly, there were couple of people this evening, who were extremely rude because I wouldn't let them sing.
These people have been before and know my rules. Karaoke starts at 8pm, so please don't turn up at 11.35pm and expect to sing, knowing that karaoke finishes at midnight. It's not going to happen, no matter how many times you plead with me, I have to be firm about that.
That is all I have to say, its not up for discussion.

The majority of you are absolutely amazing and extremely respectful and I love that. So thank you to all you amazing singers. Lets keep the good vibes and positivity going 😊 ###x

Thank you to the bar staff for providing refreshments and to the door staff for keeping everyone safe.
Thank you also to everyone for coming out and having a good night.

********************************************************************************************
It has been brought to our attention that some people are complaining about our social media posts.

It is a well known fact that we video singers and we take random photos, to show the atmosphere we create in a venue, for social media purposes.
We have always asked singers if they mind.
9 times out of 10, they say its fine.

Recently we have had people message to ask us to take a photo or video down. This is totally fine and your absolute right, but if you walk across the dance floor while we are filming, or you have just walked through the door of a venue at the point of filming or taking a photo, that is not our fault.
Please stay out of the shot, if you do not want to appear online. It's as simple as that.
We don't hide the fact that we actively film and take photos. If you think we have caught you in a photo or video, talk to us at the time and we will edit you out before we post. It's quite easy to do.

Please also don't complain to the bar staff or manager, of any venue we are in. They have enough things to do and are very busy. Although the venue pay us for our service, they have no control over what we post online because this is our own small independent business.
So please, please don't chew their ear off about it, just come and speak to us. We are both approachable and friendly. We don't bite.

So in future, please tell us in advance that you do not want to be filmed or stay out of the camera's eye.
We want everybody to have a great time and feel comfortable doing so.

Thank you all 🥰 ###
