FIRST CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN💚

It’s my first Christmas in heaven,
I’ve been dreading it all through the year.
Knowing that you will be lonely,
lost to the joy and the cheer.

I’ve been sending sweet robins to find you,
and feathers have brought you my love.
I’ve been whispering secrets to raindrops,
hoping you’ll hear me above.

It’s my first Christmas in heaven,
it’s a wonderful place to exist…
And the only sadness that finds me,
is wishing I wasn’t so missed.

Because if you look closely, you’ll see me,
in every small thing that you do.
I’m the joy that sneaks in through the window,
when you stop to admire the view.

I’m the laughter that gasps from your sadness
when your soul frees itself from this pain.
I’m the comfort that warms through your blanket
as you wrap yourself up from the rain.

It’s my first Christmas in heaven,
and they told me that this would be tough.
All I can do, is remind you, you’re loved
and I’ll pray, every day, it’s enough.

We at Irene Jessop Funeral Service, know how important your pet is to you - a real member of the family.
We are the only funeral service licensed by DEFRA to help you when you lose your animal companion. We have taken care of beloved pets for over 12 years.
When we lose our pet. we feel the same grief and loss as we do when we lose a human family member.
When your pet crosses Rainbow Bridge, we can take care of collecting your pet from the veterinary surgery or from home.
With love and great care, we would bring your pet to rest at our funeral home where your pet would be gently placed into a private room of remembrance where you would have the opportunity to visit and spend precious time with your "best friend".
We arrange the cremation and the safe return of your pet's cremated remains. Your pet's ashes would be back in our care approximately a day or two after the cremation in a receptacle of your personal choice.
Your pet's name is entered into our Book Of Remembrance and where able, you would receive a paw print and a personalised key ring containing a small cutting of your pet's fur.
We can help you with other memorials and keepsakes too.
Your pet will be in safe and caring hands at all times.
