We’ve all had that moment of dread—spotting a yellow slip under the wipers and thinking “Oh no… a ticket!”

But yesterday at the WheelsDay 50 event (hosted by the brilliant Surrey Street Rodders at Newbury Showground, we got the nicest kind of surprise...

A “Best in Show” certificate! 🏆🚘

We didn’t even know there was a competition, so to be picked as one of the Top 10 among all those stunning classics was a real honour—and totally unexpected.

Huge thanks to the organisers for such a professional, fun and friendly event celebrating 50 years of Hot Rodder magic. Here’s to many more!

Great Day out today. Early start, off to join The Butty Run, to check out some great cars and bikes and a Full English , catch up with some old mates and then a coffee over in Royal Leamington Spa. What a lovely Town/City. Back home by 3:00pm to do a bit of beekeeping.
