Amazing to see another major restoration milestone reached at Gwrych Castle.

As the restoration progresses, we're not just watching a historic building being saved — we're watching one of the most unique event venues in the UK continue to grow and evolve.

Every year more of the castle is brought back into use, creating new opportunities for events, experiences and bringing people together in an incredible setting. It's exciting to see the venue developing alongside the events that take place here.

We're proud that Castle Carnival can play a small part in that journey and look forward to seeing what the future holds for both the castle and the growing community around it.

👨‍👩‍👧 Kids are welcome during the daytime part of the event, but all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and leave site by 9PM. From 9PM onwards the event becomes strictly 18+ only.

Castle Carnival; Day & Knight 🌝🌚

On the 27th of June we welcome Manchester's most exciting roughneck Jungle crew; Spun. Fresh off their first year anniversary after an immense inaugural 12 months throwing some of the best grassroots Jungle events Manchester has seen in years; we've drafted them in to bring their breakbeat chaos to the castle.

If that wasn't enough we've brought in two Soundsystems making their castle debuts; Welsh wizards Stone Roots Sound and the Mancunian powerhouse Union Soundsystem!

Food will be available as we've asked to keep us fuelled throughout the day with his famous food truck!

We're running two stages; reggae outside and your favourite blend of bass music inside. 2PM-1AM. Kids welcome, 18+ after 9PM.

Gwrych Castle is a Grade I listed 19th-century country house near Abergele in Conwy, North Wales. The castle is currently the home to ITV's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The Trust are embarking on a restoration programme to restore the castle and parkland back to its former glory.
