Supplier Love 😍

I can't tell you how excited I was to pull into yesterday's venue and see Lucy Coco Floristry van there for set up! It was an audible “oh yay!!!” to myself in the car.

I've been in awe of Lucy's work from afar and am always so drawn to her use of vibrant colour and organic, sculptural structure. Her installations are just beautiful, and they definitely lived up to this in real life.

Possibly even more exciting, Lucy and I went to school together (we've both relocated since then). We were drama buddies and worked together for A Level. If my foggy recollections are correct, we collaborated on a devised piece about two ladies who won the lottery and spent all of the money they didn't have, before discovering they hadn't actually won anything. Quite possibly one of the cheesiest things to grace a secondary school stage 🤣

Yesterday was all kinds of wonderful for the fabulous brides, L&M.

Joyous, warm, full of laughter and completely, unapologetically them.

These two are absolute proof that the more you give your celebrant, the more magic we can make with it, and L&M really did dig deep. Their stories, their quirks and all the little details they shared gave me so much to work with, and it meant we could create a ceremony that felt completely and utterly theirs. I loved every second of it.

It was also my first ceremony at Shack Revolution Weddings , and what a venue! So much scope for personalisation, gorgeous details everywhere, and a fabulous team of staff.

I also got to work alongside some fabulous people, with Mitchell Prosser Photography and One Lush Day working their magic together as a brilliant team. I can't wait to see what they captured.

And those dried flowers? Absolutely stunning. Petalhead Flowers

So here's to L&M, to a cracking day, and to finding the person who makes you feel like home. 🥂

I had the most wonderful time delivering S & L's ceremony yesterday!

Their intimate weekend wedding at Monnow Valley Studio was filled with so much love, surrounded by their closest family and friends in a truly beautiful setting.

There were tears and laughter in equal measure as we shared stories, memories, values and promises. The ceremony included a surprise ring bearer, a handfasting, and a quaich ceremony as a lovely nod to the bride's Scottish roots.

I also had the pleasure of singing a surprise song chosen by the groom as a dedication to his bride, a moment I'll never forget.

And, of course, the celebrations were accompanied by an incredible feast from Gastronomy by Jon 🙌🏼

Another love soaked day! Such a gorgeous couple, so full of warmth, with a lush bunch of family and friends (I've used the word lush a lot today when chatting to their guests). Here's to forever 🥂💖

Wow, what an absolutely fabulous ceremony this afternoon for D&A! Talk about vibes! I had an absolute blast, such a lush couple and such amazing guests too! Will be posting some more about this one, once they've had the chance to come down from the ceiling 😉💖
