As I celebrate the first year of I Now Declare, I’ve been reflecting on just how many incredible people have played a part in this journey.

First and foremost, thank you to my family and friends. Whether you’ve shown your support in person, shared my work online, recommended my services, or simply been there with a helping hand when I needed it most, your encouragement means more than you’ll ever know.

A special thank you to for believing in me, and to Mark and Frances, the very first couple who trusted me to be part of such an important chapter in their lives. You helped give me the confidence to take those first steps, and I’ll always be grateful.

I NOW DECLARE… THE PETRIES ✨

A wedding day full of surprises, personality, and unforgettable moments, with the biggest reveal being Kaitlin’s stunning fuchsia pink wedding dress! From our very first conversations, Kaitlin and Kyle made it clear that they weren’t interested in following traditions just for the sake of it. They wanted a wedding that reflected them: bold, fun, vibrant, and completely unique.

From the moment they shared their vision with me, I knew this was going to be something special. Both of them were buzzing with excitement about the surprises they had planned for their guests, and every meeting was filled with creative ideas, laughter, and plenty of “what if we did this?” moments. Together, we refined and perfected those ideas, creating a day that felt authentic and iconic.

Their day was packed with personality, from the unconventional colour palette that stood proudly apart from the crowd, to the incredible tattoo artist who gave guests the chance to leave with a permanent reminder of an unforgettable day.

It’s safe to say Kaitlin has well and truly been bitten by the wedding bug, and I’m thrilled that she wants to join me at future wedding fayres and events. If anyone can inspire couples to embrace their personalities and create a wedding that breaks the mould, it’s her.

I Now Declare… THE DAVIDSONS ✨

What a joy it was to plan Neil & Sabia’s beautiful wedding day. Getting to know their story and being part of such a special chapter in their lives was truly an honour.

From the incredible Dhol and Pipes bringing such energy and emotion to the day, to the meaningful blend of two cultures coming together so perfectly, every moment was unforgettable. The all-white décor by Thoughts and Crosses was absolute perfection, creating such an elegant atmosphere, while Corra kept the celebration alive from start to finish ✨

A huge thank you to Meldrum House for being the most wonderful venue to work with, and to Diaz Kidd for being an absolute joy to coordinate with throughout the day.
